More more Marth! How do you like it? How do you like it?

Nintendo of America has announced it will restock the Marth Amiibo.

During Wednesday's Nintendo Direct, Bill Trinen announced that the figures will be available later this year.

Nintendo has not said if there are plans to restock other difficult to find Amiibo.

Marth, as well as the other Fire Emblem Amiibo, will be compatible with Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. when it releases on March 13.

All of the amiibo should be receiving new stock continuously. None of them should be rare, and the shameless scalpers should have no reason to want to scoop them all up if they spot them in stores. Get on it already, Nintendo.

marvel_moviefan_2012January 15, 2015

no they shouldn't be restocking endlessly the demand isn't that high, even for the rare ones. Its just higher than they expected.

I would hope that Nintendo restocks all amiibo. And soon! I really, really, really want a Captain Falcon amiibo, but have had no luck finding one. All pre-orders and online orders are not giving me any results, either.
All I have are the scalpers, charging as little as $30 for a $12.99 toy. Gotta love them scalpers.
I seriously hope that Nintendo sends out more so that those scalpers can end up with more product on their hand than they know what to do with.
Come on, Nintendo, get on it!

I figured I'd grab a Mario amiibo because it'd go the quickest, and just get a Villager amiibo (the one I really wanted) a month later for my next paycheck.

That plan didn't work out so well.  :/

I don't trust Nintendo to have enough Marth figures in the restock. I must prepare to fight people to the death for him.

Marth Amiibo is the name of the villian in the new Star Wars movie.

what if Nintendo over estimates on the restock, gets stuck with a ton they can't sell and retailers refuse to buy any new waves? Get over it you missed your chance now be a adult and either pay for the toy or grow up and spend your money on something useful. They already announced they are releasing cards down the road, to them it was never about the figures it was about the functionality, and making money. It is in their best interest to do what makes them the most money and restocking toys that sold through a limited release that are only valuable because they are limited won't help Nintendo at all. It would take more units than Nintendo will ever realistically release to screw the scalpers. Nintendo makes stupid decisions but this is something beyond their control its retailers who have to shelve these things retailers don't give a shit if you buy a toy or the scalper does they get the same money either way, same for Nintendo.

They should do a reissue of hard to find amiibos when a new game in the series releases.

That seems to be what they are doing with this announcement.

StratosJanuary 15, 2015

I'm hoping it is a trend and not a one-time decision.

PhilPhillip Stortzum, January 15, 2015

Yeah, I'd love to see Villager restocked too! That's the one I'm down about missing out on. :(
