184 downloadable quests later, Square Enix releases the final adventure for their mega-hit.

Square Enix has announced that after 184 downloadable Dragon Quest IX quests, the final quest was released today. A new quest has been released every week since the game's release in Japan.

The name of quest 184 is May May May. It has players trying to rescue a sheep named May who is holding a special item. When the quest is complete, players will receive a special map and a message from the developers.

Dragon Quest IX was released in North America yesterday, and is available now.

Hopefully we'll get all 184 quests and maybe then some, too!

This game owns my soul. I still need to access Wi-Fi to start downloading this madness.

I'm going to have to figure out how to connect my DS to Wi-Fi, since regular DS games can't connect to a WPA network, even on a DSi. This is the first time in a long while that I've cared.

Just switch your WPA to WEP, then switch back.

I was under the impression that my router couldn't do WEP and that I'd have to drop encryption entirely, and that I wouldn't be able to use this computer to change the settings, but I just checked and it turns out neither of those is true. That means it's not nearly as much of a problem as I thought it was.
