Like Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, Tri will have post-release downloadable content.

Capcom has announced that Wii exclusive Monster Hunter Tri will will have downloadable content following its release in the form of event and arena quests.

The quests will only be posted for limited amounts of time, similar to the model used with Monster Hunter Freedom Unite for PSP. That game saw its DLC support come to an end on April 2, ten months after its North American release.

These quests will feature unique monsters and rewards, allowing players to collect rare items and then use them to upgrade their armor to play through the rest of the game. Events will be posted cyclically, so players will have more than one opportunity to experience them. The event release schedule will be posted on the first Friday of every month.

Monster Hunter Tri releases on April 20 in North America.

They have to make money somehow.

Ignore Peachela.
The title of this should be different.

There tends to be negative conatations when the 3 letters DLC come to mind.

This will be avalable for everyone. There won't be a price for it.

These are free.

I'll change the title to "Free DLC".
