Former MTV Networks executive has been announced to take over.

Nigel Robbins has been announced as the new CEO of Kuju Entertainment. Robbins moves to Kuju from MTV Networks, where he was a content and creative specialist.

Co-founders Ian Baverstock (current CEO) and Jonathan Newth will leave their operational roles and move into non-executive positions. The move is a result of the acquisition in 2007 by Catalis, the current parent company. Kuju's current development studios are Zoe Mode, Headstrong, Doublesix and Vatra. They are also working on the upcoming Lord of the Rings title, Aragorn's Quest.

"I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to build on Kuju's strong foundations and focus on doing what we do best," Robbins said. "Our job is to create compelling quality content across all platforms and delivery channels, and that will continue to be the focus within each of our studios, ensuring that we are the first choice developer for our publishing partners."

Talkback

I thought Kuju had been renamed to Headstrong, but it looks like that only applied to a particular studio under the larger Kuju umbrella.

Isn't that the same place Reggie came from?
