This DSi-enhanced title is an update to last year's music creation tool and will feature exclusive DSi features.

At a recent faux conference in Japan, AQI announced Korg DS-10 Plus, an update to last year's Korg DS-10. It will take advantage of DSi's increased technical specifications by introducing dual mode. Dual mode allows the player to create music tracks with four analog synthesizers, eight drum tracks, and twelve tracks. There are also new programmable editing tools, such as an expanded song mode and real-time editing.

While the title can still be played on DS or DS Lite, you won't be able to access any of the DSi-exclusive enhancements such as dual mode.

Korg DS-10 Plus will be available in Japan on September 17.

This looks like the first serious DSi enhanced game, since you will be losing out on a big feature when you play it on a DS or DSlite.

I've made good use of the original for loops and stock music. I hope the new one comes out here as well.

Wow, the first one must have sold really well, or else the company aims to stretch out their investment return by releasing it again with more hype this time.
