Great googly-moogly!

Murk280 found this game on deviantart.  Made in Flash, but it's some of the best Flash game programming I've ever seen.  Awesome fun, especially if you have someone to play it with.  We got very good at it, fighting against each other.  Highly suggested.

This thread can be used for any other online game nonsense people want to speak of, if the Powers That Be don't mind.  Mainly, though, I just thought that all of you should know about this.

Destruction Desire (2d fighter) less direct link
Frequon Invaders (4d shooter)
Vantage Master Online (SRPG by Falcom)
Galax (V-SHMUP, allows you to "hack" enemies, plus you get to fight the next XBox )
Warning Frever (2d shooter) and other games
Cho Ren Sha 68k (V-SHMUP)

Wow. Frequon Invaders completely blew me away. It's entirely different from quite literally ever game I've ever played. I screwed around for 15 minutes not knowing what the hell to- I'm still quite lost, but I think I'm getting the hang of it.

It's such an incredible concept, though, and fun as hell.

BTW, a friend of mine is very proud of his highscore in Frequon Invaders: 65 points. Try beating that!

My best is 18 so far- it's freaking hard, but I'm getting better. I'll have that high score beat eventually.

That game is gonna give me a freaking seziure, but it's pretty nifty.  High score:  I haven't left training. =p

Cept I can't get past the name screen in Galax and I can't get past the title screen in Cho Ren Sha 68k.  TELL ME HOW.  Galax looks liek it freezes, and I can move the cursor in Cho Ren Sha 68k  but I don't know how to confirm my selection.

Crazy game My high score is 23 if i remeber correctly, i know it was low twenties Anyone else think the directions were even more confusing than the actual game is? I was reading the directions and i was like "WTF??!!?". There was all these crazy math terms and stuff. I'm not even in high school yet, i had no idea what they were talking about. A simple, "The point of the game is to get the circles to disappear. They disappear when you put the cursor over them. Use traning to figure out how the light bends when you're close to a circle" would have done it for me.

Well, I was playing training some more in frequon invaders (my high score btw is somewhere in the low 20's).  Well, I was under the impression that you tried to make the gray lines bigger, no?  Well, if the playing field is all black shouldn't I at least be able to SEE the dot?

My best so far is 45. The game starts doing weird stuff- I've encountered the oddity where it looks like the invader is on one side, but it's really on the opposite side of the screen. Some of the color schemes are really hard to read, too. In the end it was the shifting screen shape that ended my run.

::EDIT::

I'm up to 58 now. And is it just me or is the purple/yellow color scheme screwing everyone else up, too?

Knows Nothing: In Japanese freeware games the convention is to use Z and X as the action buttons (Cho Ren takes CTRL, too, which I'd recommend so you can use two fingers and reduce the risk of RSI...). Yaah, sorry, that was a really late reply...

BTW, Frequon is fun to play on a comp where others can watch.

I know, the rules of the game say you cannot get more than 64. However, if there is more than one frequon in the game when you have 63 points, you can reach 65 if you kill another one while the game is ending after your 64th kill (while the window is zooming out).

Ah, in that case it would be very hard to beat your friend's score.
