This thread is for discussion of Planet GameCube's E3 2004 Awards, a.k.a. "The Louies".

Please keep all comments civil; everyone has their own opinions.  There were many games which received a significant number of votes but still landed third place and thus were not named in the article.

Sonic DS runner-up for best graphics on DS?
Are there any videos available of the game, because I haven't seen any yet and I thought I had downloaded a vid of just about every E3 game on any Nintendo console.

Sonic DS was really not much of a game at all, but there's no doubt that it looked fantastic...like Sonic Adventure running on the N64, perhaps.  It was very fast with a pretty good character model and environment.

The Nintendo press kit bag rocks.  Its a laptop bag but cooler for the sole reason it says Nintendo on it .  Seriously though, I used it throughout the show to carry stuff in, like my booth babe pics.  Its got lots of room but overly bulky.  Awesome piece of swag.
Pietriots, we roll out to get the lol out.

Sonic DS looks nice until you realize it's just one character and some REALLY lowpoly terrain. Maybe we'll see fighting games at that level, but not much else.
