Ok, so this would be my dream peripheral for GCN that has been getting some attention. I wish it was a GBA player V2.0

It would be the same as the regular GBA except have another slot to play DS games. This is why they are holding off on the announcement, cuz it would take away from the DS. Obviously this would never happen because it would cut into DS' sales.

It also wouldn't work becauses the games use a touch-screen, microphone, and a SECOND screen.

They could possibly make it so you could do it with a GBA, GC, GBA Player 2, GBA Player 2 startup disc, Nintendo Touchpad, Nintendo Microphone and TV instead of a DS.

Or... or, I know! You could use a DS to control everything and connect it to the GBA Player 2. I have no idea what the point is, but it could be done.

On the more serious side, I can see the peripheral having something to do with networking...It would be wise not to rule that out

The peripheral will probably have to do with what Bill said, networking, or online stuff although it'd be a bit late.

How about if they release a controller with the microphone built into it facing you, and the controller has a slot for the DS games, the controller can plug either into a GC controller port or directly to the TV like the new atari and pacman ones. Also the DS display on tv is represented like the DS itself with two screens aligned vertically on the tv or they give you the option of seeing the second screen on the controller with an lcd screen.

My wish is that The Legend Of Zelda: Four Swords comes bundled with a free GBA in tandem with a price cut on all GBA units to entice people to buy 2 more of them for 4 player goodness!

It would be pretty cool to connect with the DS but then it would be pretty late as next gen is coming soon.
