Looks pretty cool...I defended cel shading from here to the apocalypse, and I still do, but I'm always up for a change. And this will certainly sell Cubes to "mature" gamers. I just hope it doesn't go over the top. I'll check it out even if it does, but I'd prefer a game along the same lines as the N64 Zeldas.

Does anyone else notice how it's just called The Legend of Zelda? I wonder if this could be a remake of the first game. It doesn't seem like it's supposed to be a direct sequel to Wind Waker anyway.

This game is absolutely gorgeous though. I'm really impressed. I hope what we saw wasn't just a demo and that stuff will actually be in the game. Fighting enemies while on the horse will be freakin cool. It was wonderful to see an actual forest too. Damn I can't get over how great it looks.

I don't think anyone expected this. Well done Nintendo for fooling us all. I'll bet they had this planned from the beginning but it would take too long to make so they made the cel-shaded engine so they could get a Zelda game out faster. This is it! This is the Gamecube killer app!

Even Wind Waker was simply called "LOZ" until they had a fixed title. It's probably a new adventure. Very cool.

Anyway, looks very good. I'm really glad Nintendo held back a couple of secrets this year, I feel that was what was lacking in last year's E3 - no real surprises. I'm very interested in hearing more about this game and DK Jungle Beat too.

I cant believe it ...I woke up at 4.00 am waiting for some big news and have been trying to get into IGN for like 1 hour oh and damn it was worth the wait.

I was losing faith in Nintendo and the Zelda series but OMG.

this game is goin to be sick, I'm a fan of the cell shaded version but after seein this, theres no turnin back. The cell shaded should be used in a new mario and this should be the new benchmark for zelda games IMO. The scene in the forest and him ridin the horse fightin is sick, reminds me of lord of the rings in a way. The new touches to his outfit are well done too.

To watch that press confrence live, to see metriod on the DS that was enough for me. But to the see "Glory of Hyrule"(trailers name) and watch Link ride through that forest... no words, no words(Although you could probably hear me scream "Goy Goy Goy" from Philly To L.A.).

I do belive that WindWaker2 is still on track for a 2004 release and I don't belive that 2days game is WW2.

Well, this could still be Wind Waker 2 ya know. IGN said this game is supposed to be pretty far along, so they've probably been working on it the whole time.

I finally got to see the video.

All I can say is that if this game was a woman I would ask it to marry me.

If this game doesn't sell Cubes then the game buying public is officially a bunch of know-nothing idiots and Nintendo should go niche like Apple.

Finally some light in the tunnel. This new realistic Zelda is the answer to all of those who beg for the adult link to come back. The demo looks amazing. Now all we need are new excuses to bash Nintendo to hell (sarcasm) Let the revolution begin!
