MM was my favirote too, although I believe I enjoy OOT and WW more now because they have more replay value than MM.

I just noticed something, anyone remember those wolf like creatures and robin hood type outfits from the Zelda series that aired?

Looks like they are in this game ( they were also in LOZ:AOL )

this is the first time I've seen them come back. Kinda cool, I hope we'll see more enemies, and new ones as well.

Also if you look at the clips while Link is fightining in the dark in the forest, it kinda looks like a Lizafos, but yet it doesn't. It's hard to make out.

Wolf-creatures?  In the trailer I see WW-style Bokoblins(some of which are on wild boars) and Moblin, OoT-style Lizalfos, a new black blob-like creature that walks on 2 feet/hands, and the fire Moblin...Nothing else...

(Oh, and the creatures that Link is fighting in the forest are Bokoblins...)

No bill, take a closer look, in the forest during the Day, Link is fighting a wolf in a robe with an arrow. it wasn't a Bokoblin, as it looked too much like a wolf/dog.

take a look at that, that's the part I'm talking about. it looks too Canine, thus why I believe it's those from aol ( Adventure of Link )

(And how can you be a Zelda fan without even liking LttP or LA? Meh!)

I have a friend who thought they were both pretty boring and didn't like them at all- I'm pretty sure he's mentally retarded.

"take a closer look, in the forest during the Day, Link is fighting a wolf in a robe with an arrow. it wasn't a Bokoblin, as it looked too much like a wolf/dog."

I think the picture is too blurry to really tell what it is but in the forest scenes in the video that's what I thought that was.  Those fox archer dudes in Castlevania: Circle of the Moon were what first came to mind.

On the topic of enemies I want to see Goriyas come back.  For those that don't remember they're giant rats that throw boomerangs.  Those would look so cool in this style of graphics.

heh Yeah, It first looked like that when I first saw it, it look like dog ears. So I thought it was a returning enemy from aol. guess not. I hope we'll see more.

The land looks different from TooT, as there's more foilage, trees as far as the eye can see.

I hope there's vasts lands and areas to explore with your trusty stead. But will the Master Sword return?

I wouldn't be worried about enemy diversity, as that has been shown in every Zelda game...

As for the return of the Master Sword, that depends on when in the timeline the game takes place...(I strongly doubt this is OoT Link)

I think the only Zelda games not to have the Master Swords were the sidestories (Link's Awakening an Majora's Mask) and  LoZ and AoL, which were made before the Master Sword was first introduced. I wouldn't worry about not seeing the Master Sword again, unless this is a sidestory, too.

I hope they do the same stuff to the Master Sword they did in Wind Waker.

You cannot deny the final Master Sword kicked all sorts of ass.

What's up with the pansy FFCC looking Lizalfos?
This is what a Lizalfos is supposed to look like. (EDIT - if you can't see the pic, just copy it into the address bar and press enter)

As for the Master sword, they should use the silver one. This seems possible since the new GBA Zelda has the silver one on it's logo....

And they should have master sword upgrading, but different from WW.
I think that when you first get it it should be the standard silver Master Sword (not the toy blue one...that wouldn't look right in this game). Then when you upgrade it they should switch the steel blade with a diamond one.

Imagine how cool that would look. A brilliant diamond blade, with amazing lighting and light filtering effects...and whenever you L-target and enemy it would glow a pure brilliant white (like WW except pure white, not bluish white..).
The lighting could truly look amazing...Ganon had his yellow crystal swords in the final battle in Ocarina, so Link should have a white crystal/diamond blade!

When I grow up and become a Well Paid Rich Person, I'm going to send in a huge team to south africa and find the biggest diamond ever. And have it made into a diamond katana.

Pimp.

But think of the end of Wind Waker...If this game takes place right after it (which I'd prefer), then it's unlikely you will gain the Master Sword thanks to its resting place in Ganondorf's head...If this takes place sometime before, or a 1000 years after, then the likelihood of finding the Master Sword will be greater...

Personally I hope this will be right after Majora, and finish the legacy of the Hero of Time.

In Ocarina he did all that stuff. Then went back to being ten. In Majora he's slightly older and goes on a new romp. And finally the story of the Hero of Time's life would be finished in this game. Perhaps someone frees Ganon. Maybe during his romp in termina something happened back in Hyrule?... I think the OoT/MM storyline is the best of the Zelda series and deserves a good finale game.

I disagree. Leave OoT and WW on their own, because they work so well together on their relationship that they don't really relate at all hrhrhr make sense of that , just linked by a few common features. I'd rather a new story that stands up on its own, without needing to play the other games, but leaving signs and 'easter eggs' for fans at the same time.

That's exactly what Wind Waker was, Shifty- you didn't have to plat OoT at all to like WW, but if you did Nintendo through some cool easter eggs your way, even if they were pretty big.

I really dislike the idea of jumping back and forth between timelines...As far as I'm concerned, the OoT timeline is complete, with Link stuck in Termina...

Which would rule out a direct sequel involving that same Link. But the timeline OoT was followed up by every other Zelda game, so in that sense it obviously didn't end.

Well obviously...

But the Links that followed didn't necessarily have to be direct descendants, but as I believe, that the spirit of Link arises when it is needed...

Oh, of course they're not direct descendants- that would be silly. I'm wondering how Nintendo will try to fit this game into the series, though- I loved the throwbacks in Wind Waker.

Link was never Stuck in Termina, He went back to Hyrule at the end. Have you gotten every mask in the game?

As that's the ending I saw, with link going home.
