If you're too old to remember the games from the first compilation, then maybe a few of these newer ones will ring a bell.

Midway Set to Deliver Another Feast of Old School Delicacies with Midway Arcade Treasures 2

Midway® Arcade Treasures 2™ Brings Back More Than 20 Arcade Classics Including All-Time Favorites Such As the Original Mortal Kombat®, NARC®, Cyberball 2072™ and Arch Rivals™

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 26, 2004--Midway Games Inc., a leading interactive entertainment industry publisher and developer, today announced Midway Arcade Treasures 2, a compilation of classic Midway arcade games together on one disk. The sequel to the successful 2003 launch of Midway Arcade Treasures, Midway Arcade Treasures 2 is currently in development and scheduled to ship Fall 2004 for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox® video game system from Microsoft and the Nintendo GameCube™ with a suggested retail price of $19.99.

Cool stuff. If I remember correctly, Hard Drivin was one of the first Polygon racers, back there with Virtua Racing (a classic, IMO). Arch Rivals was a prototypical NBA Jam. And, I think that Championship Sprint was another one of those enjoyable top-down racer. I haven't played any of the others, including any of the Mortal Kombat series. So, most of these will be new to me. Too bad Paperboy 2 isn't on here though.

WoW!!!!  Primal Rage on the GCN!!!!!!   This is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!  Just one question...  Did midway always own Primal Rage? I do not remember.
I hope we can get a new PR game in 3D!

"Did midway always own Primal Rage? I do not remember."

No Primal Rage is made by Atari Games.  However Midway later purchased Atari Games and now owns all of their properties.  Oh and just to be really confusing Atari Games is different from the Atari home console game division which has since sold it's name to Infrogames.

(Infogrames. I thought their name and logo was a lot better than Atari, especially since they have a history reaching back into the "retro" days.)

Now, someone smack Midway a good one for not releasing this in Europe.

Stun Runner... I've wanted a port of that for so long. It was just a neat, stylish racing game. Sure, it's not going to win any visual awards compared to Gran Turismo 4 (if I remember correctly, the look was closest to that of Starfox for the SNES), but it was really impressive for the time, and should be good for some nostalgia indeed.
