Sorry but that price seems a bit outrageous. I was thinking $29.99USD so more like $39.99 Canadian like Wario Ware will be

Yeah, me too. I guess this Zelda fan will be waiting for the price to come down, just like I am for the A Link to the Past on GBA.

Yeah, I was expecting this to be a "budget" title like Wario Ware GC and Pokemon Channel are.
I wonder if they did indeed remove Navi Trackers from the game for the US release? I see no mention of that or Shadow Battle in the press release...

Me?  I'm grabbing my copy before they even get the box into the store...

I agree with most of you in that $50 (which is $70 here in Canada) is too expensive for this title.  I assumed that it would at least be $40 like Viewtiful Joe.  However the game comes with a link cable so I guess that's why it's more money.  I have no use for another cable though and IF they were going to include a cable with a game it should have been FF:CC (though that did have it for pre-order).  It's kind of cruel to make us buy cables for one game and then later make us pay more money for a game that comes with a cable we don't need.

Plus there's no reason to take a feature out even if it isn't that good.  The game won't be worse with it included.

I'm buying it used because I don't need the cable and thus am not going to pay extra because of it.

Is this a totally different game than "LINK TO THE PAST" or is it LTTP with a bonus mode?
And can this game be played with just 1 player, or is it ONLY a Multiplayer game (2 or more)?

It's a completely new game, not a 3d version of Four Swords GBA, so it makes perfect sense to keep it full-price...And yes, you can play 1-player(with 4 Links)

Even the first Four Swords, with a port of LttP, was $30. Nintendo would have been wise to market Four Swords for the Gamecube as a bargain title. It also would have been a good idea to include Tetra Trackers as well.

Hey, I'm as big a Zelda fan as the next guy, but with Navi/Tetra's Trackers removed, it seems like even less of a deal than it was before. I'll be waiting for the price drop on this one. Trust me, it makes me sad to even say that.... See?

Which is the full price of a GBA game...Your point?  It's an even better deal for FS+ considering you get a free GC/GBA cable with it, even though it's the full 50...

Damn, its coming out around the same time Star Craft: Ghost. Choices...

For all technical purposes, if Nintendo was dropping Navi's/Tetra's Trackers because of translation problems (Pronouncing names and all), they could easily get help from proffesional Linguists (Dare I say cunning?....)

What they could do is refer to the International Phonetics Association (IPA), who could plausibly make so that Tetra could pronounce American Names. They could make a layering program of the most common sounds made in the English language so that the user inputs standard writing, the program turns that into to phonetic symbols, and the voice spits out the result.

Unfortunately, that would probably be more trouble than its worth, and would probably delay the game. Oh well, "2 out of 3 ain't bad..."

P.S Zelda finally giving birth to kids? Its about time!
