The weirdest thing just happened to me. I was reading through the civilization histories on The Conquerors (I'm a nerd, I know) when for no apparent reason, one of the Furbies in my closet wakes up and starts talking. This thing hasn't been on for at least 3 years, and I could have sworn the batteries were dead, considering I have quite literally thrown it across my room without it coming to life. Then out of nowhere it wakes up! I am thoroughly creeped out right now- I'm afraid if I go in my closest it'll stab me or something. o_O

Furbies always scared me. Whether it was the shrill, wailing voice of a banshee or the lifeless clockwork eyes of the gnome-devil, we'll never know.

They still scare me though.

So do life-like porcelin dolls with glass eyes.

Furbies look like something that News World would make up. Is that the one with the "Cats on Mars" story? I was just at the store and I saw that and leafed through it and apparently the apocolypse is drawing near: an asteroid is headed for earth and IT WILL WIPE OUT HUMANITY!!! Despite the obvious relevence of THAT story, "Strange Cats Found On Mars" was the cover story. You can feel assured that when you fall asleep tonight and don't wake up because you were obliterated by a gigantic space rock, CATS will outlive us all. They were wrong about the cockroach. Cats have conquered TWO planets.

Oh, right, so Furbies. ^_^ Yeah, they are definitely scary. I don't know why they were ever popular. If some little kid were to wake up in the night and see that in the darkness, Pull-Up training pants stock value would skyrocket. Isn't that right, mouse?

Cats deserve to outlive cockroaches. Or maybe they can live together and breed cockcats. . . no, no. . . catroaches. They look like cats, but can squeeze like the size of a quarter, live ten days without a head, and climb on walls and fly. Ah yes, and they'll be really gross.

Haha! Furby's were great! We once tried to have a furby and a baby furby communicate and they made weird fizzing noises and smelled of burning! True story!

The first weapon is bean bags. Simply place the Furby under your beanbag and then leave for a week. It will be in a coma.

Play a game with it! The directions are always something like "Hit it twice in the tail, stroke it's back five times, pinch his spinal cord, and poke him in the eye three times to play 'YES/NO'"

I actually love YES/NO. You ask it a yes or no question, and pet it's back and it work say 'yes' or 'no' in Furbish or whatever. IT SOLVED ALL MANNERS OF MYSTERY!
