Hmmm... Halloween is still kinda a non event here. They've been slowly pushing Halloween since about 1996-ish, but like PIAC said.. So far it's just resulted in little shits not dressing up and still asking for lollies. I'm home alone tonight, so if any turds ask me for lollies and they're NOT wearing a hilarious costume, they'll be getting a sheet of toilet paper.

Ooooh yeah. VGMix is back up now (www.vgmix.com). Like OC ReMix, but not as strict with the submissions. They've got some cool stuff you won't see on OC ReMix, like an awesome Sonic 2 Hidden Palace zone trance remix, and.. You know.. Stuff.
I'm off to play some Mario Kart demo later today! Weee!

Halloween for us is of course about the kids. This year my son is the red Power Ranger and my daughter is Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

Last year we dressed our daughter as a red Pikmin. It was cute. She wore a red leotard and we made her a hairband thing with a white felt flower on the top. It looked good, but of course no one had a clue what she was supposed to be. They thought she was just supposed to be a flower.

I haven't dressed up in years. My husband always wants to do some couples thing that have usually ended up in my humiliation. Such as the year he wore a really cool Ghostbusters costume he made and then I was unfortunate enough to wear a Stay-Puft Marshmallow man costume to go along with him. It was kinda funny but I felt really stupid most of the night.

Now, every year he asks what I want to be for Halloween I only reply "I just want to be me" in an overly cheery voice that annoys the crap out of him.

My Halloween costume idea is in my avatar.

It's guaranteed to scare just about anyone. But Ms. Pikmin, that truly sounds horrible. I would never go as the marshmallow man, and you can see my standards are preeetty low. I feel sorry for you.

Halloween blows down here...anyway...i guess im off to pull off a few tricks of mine...last time it was Hallaween about 2 years ago...if i may recall..i ended up breaking a gate...worth 1000 dollars and being chased by a man with a knife dressed up as the dude from scary movie...seriously.

This is the first time i have ever told anyone this...but im being serious...we were hiding in the bushes..watching the dude with the broken gate skits it and..then we saw the dude with the knife.

I finally got to play MK-DD yesterday! Wow! It looks a lot like Mario Kart 64, but crazier.
I played just a championship race on 50CC, which was a bit slow, but its 50CC.
Weapons are used with X and Y, and the second player can attack without an item too!
Try and imagine Luigi taking a swing at you, that's how funny it is!
