It's out in Japan. And im sure some reviewers got review copies before the game was on store shelves, just like every other game. *sigh*

Woo, went to big market thingy this morning. There were a crap load of stalls selling games, I was excited downstairs. =o
First stall I go to is a massive collection of games, but I think he like, knew what he was selling. He had Snatcher on Mega CD (UBER rare), and I went "YO MAN, WESTSIDE, HOW MUCH FOR THIS?" and he went "awww, $70" and my face turned inside out.

Then I headed along to some of the smaller stalls where old farts were selling their kids unwanted toys and stuff. One lady had a whole bunch of Mega Drive games, I picked up Hurricanes (terrible but at the same time, good platform game) and Road Rash, $3 each.
Off I go, walk around and see lots more gaming stuff, came to another place and spoted a shiny golden box. It was Zelda II on NES in a really crappy beaten up box, $1! Also got Kung Fu in a slightly better box for $2. I was then tempted to buy a whole host of Famicon games later, for .. Collection purposes.. only *is weird*, but then I thought about all the upcoming GC games and decided against it. Weeee!

Oh no! The Megaton is back!

Nintendojo are reporting that EB are reporting that Nintendo will make an announcement sometime in early 2004 about "a major product" to launch for Christmas 2004. This is not the N5, but something else.

sleep....

I want to become nocturnal just for the heck of it.

But weird stuff happens when I can't sleep.  Like one time, I went to bed late and I woke up in my mom's car.  true story.  sleepwalking=kinda spooky

an whenever I have a big school convention thing (like a concert or something, with all my friends) i can't sleep.  what happens is, I'm half asleep and I start imagining all my friends in my room, all dressed up, talking.  I can't fall asleep because it would be rude and embarrassing to fall asleep in front of all my friends.  It's happened three times and it's extremely strange.

Fin.

I updated my games list this past week as well.  I had forgotten I still had original manuals for some of my Atari games . And multiple copies of Pac-Man and Missle Command.  Super Breakout sure was fun for like 15 minutes the other night.  Just wish I could get my 2600 hooked up, then I could use the real conrollers.  I ran those games on my 7800.  Just need a female-female rca adapter.  But last I know everything still works.

why to build my collection i dont go and buy every new game thats released infact i dont even have a gamecube or gba i buy cheapo (and quite good) snes and n64 games from 2nd hand shops and rent alot of games from the local video shop before i move to a new place and "borrow" games from my "friends" and well i'll leave it at that

screw you rich new game buying commie bastards!

I'm not rich, I just know how to score bargains.
See my collection? IT CONTAINS ALOT OF CRAP. Crap = Dirt cheap!

That scan of the Pac-Man manual made my day, Berto. It brings back memories of when I had that on the 2600. HORRIBLE MEMORIES! That was one hell of a bad port.
Congrats Atari, terrible Pac-Man port AND E.T in the ONE YEAR!

to PIAC! Stick it to the man!

Well I've been working for nearly three years now, and all I can say is: "Go and get a job!" Sure, the first job you have will probably suck (it did and still does for me) but the money has made it worthwhile. And as a result I have amassed:

~ Too many CDs to count
~ At least twelve GC games, and several GBA games
~ A computer
~ A regular supply of alcohol

So go and get it, ya bums!!!!

Man, the world would be so much better if there were more female-female adapters.

Pigpen, I don't know how old you are or what your living arrangements are, but I will just assume that you are fairly young and live at home.  This is the best time to have a job and have fun with what you earn.  Once you move out on your own you lose alot of freedom with how you spend your money even though it would seem like the opposite would happen.  Even a crummy minimum wage part time job can go a long way.  Come on!  Get out there and find a job!  Spend money on games, movies, restaurants and whatever else you and your friends want to do.  Have some fun!

If you already have a job and/or live on your own then......uh.......nevermind.

A job...that's what I need...

The thing is, the only thing I can only do small jobs around the neighborhood becuase of my age (shoveling snow, raking leaves, etc.), and those jobs require too much...work.

That's my problem, and don't want to work.

oh, and nice avatar ms. pikmin.  a bit spooky, yes, but nice none-the-less.

just wondering....

My GC makes this weird chirping sound when it boots up.  The cool thing is, even with the speakers off, it still makes the sound, and it's not the usual chatters and whirring it usually makes.  I don't think it's a problem, and nothing bad has happened yet.  I'm not one of those people who hear the fan going on their console and thik it's broken.

Just wondering if it happens on anyone else's (it chirps about when the starting intro ends).

Great, now I have a squirrel AND a bird living in my GC....

Hee!  I have named the squirrel "Papaya Squirrel" and the bird shall be named either "Kyle" or "Keith" if it's a boy, or "Carmen" if it's a girl.  But I guess I'll never know...

Mario just saw your list and damn i agreed with everything you said exceot Super mario sunshine ( good game but not 10/10 ) and enternal darkness ( didnt find it scary and just kept thworing the sme enimies around). i loved zelda but then hated it for its sailing and timespliteers 2 was letdown by the gc control.

Now to add my own input

Mario Sunshine- would have gotten a 10/10...if it had a snow level(as if that would happen ^_^...need a snow level!)

ED - Not scary, but very eerie...

Zelda - I absolutely loved sailing...The only part of sailing I didn't like was having to sail up to the Fortress(because no warp points are near it)

TS2 - Hmmmph...I have had no problem using the GC controller...I feel the GC controller is much better than the Xbox and PS2 controllers for FPSs...
