When my best friend michelle rented mario party 5 i thought it was gonna be a gamecube classic.....but then we started playing and i realized that it was just as bad as mario party 4...the minigames are simple boring and annoying....ok it has a lot more minigames than mario party 4 but its the same crap....its not even worth renting... in my opinion this game gets a 5.....i should give it a tougher rating but the only thing that i liked about this game was the graphics................

Oh, and though Mario Party isn't very deep, I can't tell you how much fun it is at a party...It's a party game, and nothing more...

What the hell? It's way better than Mario Party 4, and has some brilliant mini games. I've spent hours playing Pushy Pengions, Later Skater, Volleyball, Hockey and others. In a review you don't just say "it's crap", because "the mini games are crap", you explain why.

Plus you posted this in the wrong part of the forum. There is a reader review section for reader reviews.

Have you played Volleyball or Hockey? (They aren't normal boardgame minigames)  Those two games are almost worth the price of admission...

This game doesn't stink (my onion). But yeah, this is the first Mario Party game I've really shown any sort of interest in since the first on N64. Does Hudson still develop the MP games? There should be a Mario Bomerman mini game for the next one. =o
