Nintendo / Atari parroty topic
« on: February 06, 2004, 02:04:23 AM »
With Atari and Nintendo Australia's brilliance and wit combined, they came up with the best game idea ever.

While Bob the cleaner from Nintendo Australia was playing at the arcade, he thought up a brilliant idea. After holding an urgent press conference with the rest of the Nintendo Australia staff, they decided that the only way to do this, was to get Atari involved.

Atari and Nintendo Australia, after years of development, are finally about to release their innovative new fighting game, cleverly titled...

Atari VS Nintendo.

(back of box coming soon, if i can be bothered finishing it)

Oh yeah, feel free to criticise Nintendo Australia, Atari, or any other crappy australian game companies in this thread... or whatever

Why-O-why didn't they think of this sooner?

This is gonna sell GCs, and overtake PS2 as the #1 console.

You heard it from me first!

Actually I like nintendo Australia and their bungling! I once won a competition on the Nintendo Aus website, back when the background was black, and the icons played the mario theme when you put your mouse pointer over it. Anyway I won a colour gameboy and a super Mario DX game but it didn't come, I sent a letter asking them about it, and when it arrived their was two of each!~(^^) And I sent my poke'mon blue cartridge  so they could put mew on it. They sent it back with a letter and a deck of poke'mon cards saying that they accidently errased my data, but when i checked it, it was fine and had a mew on. They also sent me two of those poke'mon snap cards,I still got them.

Wow, you seem to be one of the very few who actually BENEFIT from Nintendo.
I mean, I won a couple of games off them at the Pokemon Event in sydney last year, but you!
You got their whole warehouse of goodies!
Which isn't much, but it's the whole warehouse anyway

Well I do have one complaint. I can't find any games in my town. But that's not Nintendo's fault, it's Harvey Norman's. I might try topshop.com.au, one time when I ordered Majora's Mask from them they gave me free Postage and handling and 5 Lara croft postcards. The movie Lara croft, not the animated one.

Where's the bleedin' parrot?
It's got a duck bill, you moron!

I mis-spelled parody because it's the cool thing to do.

As for your question, the parrot died during the development of the game, it got eaten by the person who shall remain nameless.

LOL, that sounds just like Atari down there.

If I had time and some imagination, I would make something up too.
