One of the most critically acclaimed Switch games is getting a Switch 2 upgrade this week.

1000xResist has been listed on the eShop for release on Thursday (August 20) at US$19.99 or equivalent. Owners of the original Switch version will be able to upgrade for no cost.

The Switch 2 version promises a higher resolution and framerate compared to the Switch release. Publisher Fellow Traveller, in confirming the release, confirmed the game will have a launch week discount of 40% for brand new owners as well as teasing an announcement from Fangamer tomorrow: Fangamer distributed the physical version of the Switch release.
