Discussion of Games to Appear in a Perfect World
« on: November 30, 2003, 04:11:00 PM »
We all want 'em, yet we're never gonna get 'em.  So post away my valiant young friends, and we shall come forth and protest with honor and valor, for...um...

I want a DK platformer.  Rare pulled support, so I doubt we're gonna get one; even though DK64 was pretty much THE only Rareware game worth buying, it was a big loss.

1. GC Pokemon RPG...Colosseum is getting there, and I hope that PC was just a testing of the water...

2. A 3d Earthbound game...Mother 3 is a GBA game, so I hope a GC version(or next gen version) is being planned...

3. Golden Sun 3!  A console version would be really nice, but I'll take it, handheld or console... ^_^

Well, I wanna try out the Final Fantasy series so a collection of sorts might be nice.
I concur with all of Mario's choices too. But since we are NEVER going to see PD2 (or is it 0?) I could go for an all out remake of Goldeneye. NOT done by EA preferably. Re-tweak the controls, update the graphics, DON'T add any more weapons or stupid gadgets, and maybe create a few new levels and BOOM. I will buy. Oh yeah and get the frame rate to 3 frames per second instead of 3 seconds per frame when you are playing multiplayer. It got annoying waiting 17 minutes to see if my bullet nailed Xenia in the head or not.

I would pay over $100 dollars for that game.

1. A 3D wrestling game that doesn't suck and has a create-a-wrestler mode on par with Fire Pro Wrestling.

2. A Mario or DK 3D platformer that focuses on action more than collecting stupid crap.

3. A Square developed Mario RPG sequel.

4. A real 3D Pokemon RPG with an online battle/trading mode, a badge focused storyline like the Gameboy games, and the ability to take photos like in Pokemon Snap.

5. A real working Holodeck.
