According to Nintendo Australia, the GBA SP is doing very well, and has sold 100,000 units since it launched here. Wow, i didn't expect it to be that high. They also put an interesting spin on it, saying that's equivalent to a 30,000 feet tall mountain of SP boxes, and that sales were "Sky High", oh ho ho.

And yay! Christmas is in like, 12 hours

Oh hey everybody!

You know Group X's Bang Bang Bang song?
They're using it as part of the ads for Nova 96.9's 'never more than two ads in a row' thingy! Or is it The Edge 96.1? One of them.

I heard it and I'm like 'wow, are these guys getting paid for the use of their song?'

Apparently Nova is coming to Adelaide. *spits on other radio stations*
I remember being over in Melbourne a couple of years ago, and listening to Nova non-stop. And Dave Hughes is hilarious too!

And a Merry New Bear to you all!

Hmmmm, perhaps the reason why Nova is popular is cause they not only play current songs, but also cause they have great comedians doing shows for them.
So, Melbourne must have Dave Hughs, and Sydney have the ever funny Merrick and Rosso (who for some reason are also in the game XIII). They also have a TV show!

Did anyone watch World Idol tonight?
I don't usually watch these sorta reality shows, but I just wanted to watch it.
Guy Sebastian was the only one who didn't get negative comments (ones about looks don't count - many got that). Kelly Clarkson IS good, but even she got one bad comment about her trying to be too much like a diva or something like Aretha Franklin. The NOrweigien guy was excellent with a great version of U2's Beautiful Day.
I think it's gonna be between Australia, America and Norway.

The German guy just sucked ass

AH HAHAAHAHAHA, that was hilarious.  I didn't know that World Idol was showing on Christmas for us in the US.  I wanted to watch it just to see the other country contestants.  Damnit, oh well hopefully there is a re run or two.

Hey dudes, I'm back. I made myself very very sick on Christmas day. 'Twas not fun. Five hours in a pool drinking girly Vodka Cruisers without sunscreen in 40 degree weather resulted in me dying.

Erm, Grace Bros. in the city was poo. I went there at 7AM on Boxing Day expecting some killer 50% GC games... And what do I see? , 2 rows of 18 Wheeler and Hulk! OMG *sperm*
But er, yeah. Went to the one in Parra this morning and got XIII, Burnout (I don't know why), Turok (It was $10 ;__; ) and Vexx (It was also $10 ;__; ). They all suck.

Oh yeah;

EB
- WWE Crush Hour $37
- Reign of Fire $44
- Red Faction II $44
- PN03 $49
- Evolution Worlds $74
- UFC $52
- Sum of all Fears $59
- Rally Champion $74 (But it's $14 on PS2 )
- Die Hard $52
- Turok $11
- Mario Sunshine $37
- Starfox Adventures $37
- Star Wars Rebel Strike - $59
- Metroid $37
- NBA Courtside $49
- Disney's Magical Mirror $49
- Wave Race $49
- Dead to Rights $67
- Robotech $52

That's their 'big sale' for this year. Meh.

Yay for KN!
Firebird kicks arse, even on my pants dial up connection. I just wish I could get the Java plug-in to work. =/

INFERNAL SEZ: XIII is the crappiest thing I've purchased all year. And Vexx is one of the most underrated platform games ever. It took like half an hour before it started showing actual decent gameplay and BAM. It's hard to believe it came from the same team that made Turok Evolution. >_>
I also require some breakfast. True story!

Well, like my usual self, i have TOTALLY NOT TRIED TO BUY ANY GAMES WHEN THEY'RE ON SALE!!!!!
=/
Rebel Strike for 50 bucks was awesome, and it's such an awesome game that I will never be able to play! PROBABLY!

For some reason, I went clubbing all night. T'was fun, but i have had no more than 1 hours sleep cause i been helpin dad plan teh Tasmania trip, fix tha car and make our timber cabinet all days, so now, I must drop dead at the monitor before my brain explode of no rest from thumpin techno, RnB and a live band, girls with like 99% of their skin bared for all to see, and an increasing level of headache from alcohol and pot.

Peace out ma brovaz.

EDIT: Oh yeah! I also won 40 bucks on the pokies......which just went right back into getting into clubs and buying drinks =/
