I get $1,000 dollars for all "A's". Yes, lucky I know. Guess it pays off living in a family that grounds you for an "A-". I guess they just want me to succeed in life.

Yep I'm serious. My great aunt gives it to me all by herself. She calls me the son she never had. (she never had any kids, see.) So yeah, I guess my house isn't that bad.

I am 23, and was never given money for grades.  Once in a rare time, I would get a small congradulatory gift, but never money from anyone.  You guys are lucky.

As far as I know the game is scheduled to come out in the US on January 4, 2004.  At least this is the date that has been hanging around for a while now.

I neve got money for good grades, but when I was younger, like when before I turned 9, I would be allowed to make brownies if I did good in school.  I love brownies, yummy.  Which reminds me, my Mom made a whole lot of fudge last night, very good tasty delicious fudge.  Too bad none of ya'll can have any, as you all don't live close enough and it will all be gone shortly anyways.

No money for me either, usually.  They expect me to get good grades, so there are hardly ever any awards involved.

In our area the school district has redone the grading system so it's not possible to get A's, B's...etc.  They grade the kids on a scale of 1-5 with 5 being the highest.  The thing about it that's really stupid is that the grade is based on how much they know of the entire year's curriculum.  So basically they say, by the end of 3rd grade the kids should know this much.  Then they are graded by how close they are to that goal.  So, it's impossible to have a high grade when the first report cards come home.

Since I can't really monitor his grades since they don't have any, I monitor my son on a weekly basis.  The teacher sends home a weekly progress note that lets parents know if they behaved well, did all their in class work, etc.  He gets no monetary rewards, just praise.  And his video games activity is dependant upon keeping up in class.  Recently, he seriously procrastinated on a report he was to be working on.  I took games away for about a week until he caught up.

Weird grading scale. . . and I thought ours here (100-94 A, 93-87 B, 86-78 C, 77-65 D, 64- F) was bad. . .

The grade scale you mention is what I've always known too.  The district my son is in just changed to this horrible new system 2 years ago.  I honestly don't know what they are thinking with this.

You guys got it tough!  Here it's:

90-100 = A
80-89 = B
70-79 = C
60-69 = D
Below 60 = F
(there are "+'s" and "-'s")

nice and simple.

Really? My school is way weird.

93-100 A
86-92 B
85-78 C
77-71 D
70+below F

So we've got it weird to. I don't think many Aussie schools have it that way. My friends that go to other schools in Australia don't. So hmm, don't know.

I get paid for grades this way:

A=$10
B=$8
C=$6
D=$0
F= they take away money -$

So if I get all A's I get 70 bucks. And that's only from my parents.

My grandparents:
A=$10
B=$7
C=$4
D=$0
F=$0 (they don't deduct from me )

And from my fav. aunt and uncle:
A=$20
B=$10
C=$0
D=$0
F=$0

And the rest of my family gives me only about $5 for everything put together.

And that's only for a trimester, which means all that 3 times a year. MONEY MONEY!!!

And I usually get all "A's" most of the time. Once in a while I get a "b" or "b+or-" I've never gotten a C in a subject my entire life.

Videogames are my life, so I have to keep my grades up in order to be able to play them.
If you really want something in this life you have to work for it. Now quiet, they're about to announce the lottery numbers.

I am right 90% of the time. So why worry about the other 3%?

My aunt and uncle? Yes, they do, but my parents pay their children for their grades and viceversa.

I'm sick from heat exhaustion
I had to walk my dog at like lunchtime yesterday cause my mum gave him a bath and walking him would dry him off. It was a sunny, cloudless day, around 27 degrees - Mario would know. I come home, i'm so tired. Then we had to go out looking for furniture. Just being in the car with the sun on my legs made me even more tired. And I just collapsed on the bed, and i've been in bed ever since. I haven't eaten anything since yesterday either.

Cya later.

You should of got a handy mega phone and yelled 'Stop putting others down because you're too mentally challenged to understand technology' at him. *Thumbs up*

Poor Termin8.
Yesterday was TERRIBLE, heat-wise. Lucky I spent most of yesterday playing Turtles in Time and bowling like an idiot at the RAD bowling center. Today's not much better, either. Lousy Summer.
