Voice acting in FFCC

Does anyone know if there is voice acting in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles?  Also you don't need a GBA to play single player right?

i'm pretty sure it's all text-based dialoge.  and you are correct in that you don't need a gba for single player mode.

Well it does have a song in the game that is sung by some famous Japanese woman.  Might be the only voice acting, but I don't know.

You dont need a GBA for single player, but they say the meat of the game lies within the multiplayer aspect of the game.

There is no voice acting by the characters, but there are a couple of songs with vocals and every dungeon is introduced with a voiced narrative.  Hopefully none of that will get gutted for the US version.

And it is a good single player game as well, just not as hectic.

I tell ya, this game is everything I could have asked for in a game from Square.

No voice acting
No FMV
Clothed characters
Fun gameplay
Good artwork
Good music

Considering their recent games, having all this in a single game is like a wish come true.

Oh god, I hope there's no voice acting...I've already had to play through FFX with the TV muted because I wanted to strangle the dubbed voices (why, oh WHY didn't Square leave the great Japanese voices in the game?! Or at least give me an option to turn the voices off?). And I hope they don't mess with the song, either...

Yes, the voice actors in FFX did a HORRIBLE job. It made the actors in Night Trap (Sega CD) seem great.

as in any game originated from japan, I think they should keep the japanese voices in instead of changing it to english or removing it.  Most dubbed japanimation/flick ruin the whole atmosphere.
