I chose mine because, i love metroid prime. I used to have a really really really cool dragon avatar, but it wont work for some odd reason which pisses me off, because it looks the coolest. Otherwise, Samus rocks!

Mine was Gohan and i chose it because he's all bad-as$ and has a really bad temper

Well, im game freak, but not GameFreak, who is some other guy, i think he's the one hosting your avatar. There's another GameFreak that wasn't from the old forums and rarely posts here, or something, i think. Although that could be me, but i know there's another gamefreak, i think *slightly confused*

Yeah... my avatar is Mario. Because it matches the nickname that... i am stuck with. Wouldn't make much sense if i put up a Luigi avatar now would it, oh ho ho.

I change mine alot. I've had a slew of Sonic avatars, though. Maybe because I love Sonic Team.. And.. Sonic! *GASP*
I enjoy making PGC avatars. Something about the 64X64 restriction. I like a good challenge.

Oh, by the way, this is indeed an avator topic yes, but it is not the same as the others, it is purely meant, and only meant for why you chose your avatar and no other reason, the other topics have different reasons, hence thats why there is more than one of them.

I picked my avatar because it looks like me in real life and I wanted something to look like me since my name is just like me because im a total klutz. You will always see me on the floor in my high school lol!

Yeah my avatar kinda looks like me too! I have short light blonde hair and since my sn is grassfairy i picked a girl with wings since fairies have wings.

I chose mine 'cause it looks just like me. And VJ rocks. I love that game to the extent that I will not change that for a while. It's been up there for months. I think I may put up a WW avatar soon though. I had forgotten what a great game that was until I played through it again. And then I downloaded the end credits and it made me cry.

I love the music in that game....

EDIT: Hey to that extent, can someone gimme a little help? When I upgraded to OS X, my old photo editor stopped working. It was pretty dumb anywho. Can someone either get me a free photo editor or photo edit a picture of WW Link for me? I can email you the one I want. Hmmm...or can I get images to the size I want on iPhoto....so many QUESTIONS!!!
