Mario or Som!?

I've been debating for a while weather to get Sword of Mana of Mario and Luigi superstar saga....which one...plzz help me to decide...SOM looks pretty awesome...but MLSS looks pretty fun and colorful...I like RPGs so either one will not be a loss...

Eh, I have no love for Square games as of late. Plus, Mario and Luigi kicks serious ass. Read.. Reviews.. And stuff. You know?

Agreed square-enix are meh lately, exept that their re releasing xenogears and vagrant story on PSone as greatest hits.  I only anticipate FF:CC, FF:XII,Star Ocean:Till end of time from square-enix now.

Just one thing to add, Sword of Mana is a remake of a game that was released in the U.S under the name Final Fantasy Adventure for the original Gameboy. I am not sure if you are aware. If you have played Final Fantasy Adventure I would suggest that you get Mario and Luigi.

Sword of Mana is more than just a remake, mind you.  It appears to have been redone completely to give the game more to it that originally, and the graphics look nothing but beautiful.  Mario and Luigi is fun as hell.  I thought the control both Mario and Luigi at the same time would be a pain, but it's not.  M&L graphics look beautiful as well.

Sword of Mana is a very loose remake and is pretty much a new game from what I understand.  They didn't have enough at e3 to be able to tell whether it's worth getting over Mario & Luigi, but all accounts I've heard say that Mario & Luigi is the best game on GBA, so I can't see how you can pass that up.

By the way, there is a thread above specifically for these types of questions.  Use it next time.
