History repeats itself
« on: November 01, 2003, 06:53:30 PM »
Remember the dreamcast? and remember the saying "history repeats itself"
now put the to together, and add in the factor of gamecube.
I own both the dreamcast and the gamecube(along with other systems) An I am noticing a repeat in trends. The same thing is happening with gamecube that happend with the Dreamcast, Hard core fans bought the system, but after a bit over a year, developers started to pull out.
Now dont say im a troll, and am flaming. I have compared the trends of both sega and nintendo(minus gameboy sales) and found a simular trend in both, although nintendo is a larger corporation then sega, the system isnt pulling in enough money for them to be  a reasonable Idea. I predict the gamecube will be one of nintendos last systems, if not last, and that they will go with hand helds and games. If you dont believe me look into it yourself.

One major difference- Sega was losing money by the truckloads and Nintendo is making money by the truckloads.

And interesting username for a "non-troll".
