Topic: Looking for Gamecube game similar to Mario Bros.

Hello,

I just got a Gamecube......I traded in my old Playstation for it. EB has a deal going on where you can trade in your old Playstation, Dreamcast, or N64 along with 7 games, and get a Gamecube new for 50 bucks. So I now own a Xbox and Cube. I just have 2 games for it, RE and Eternal Darkness. But I want to get a game that is somewhat similar to the old school platform Super Mario Bros. and I don't know a whole lot about what Gamecube has. I was looking at Luigi's Mansion, but if there is something else that is close to the Super Mario's games, let me know. I mostly want to get it for my wife to play.

Well, there is Super Mario Sunshine, but some people don't like it. Also, if you don't have the earlier Sonic games yet, Sonic Mega Collection might be of interest for you.

Super Mario Sunshine has these great oldschool stages that involve some tricky platforming skills(though in 3d)...I recommend you rent it and give the game a try...
