For the Gamecube?  That's it, my friend.  The lonely PSO.

if Nintendo made some online games and allowed for free play then they would sell very well and probably find itself assured of second place in the console race

i think they should follow suit with ps2 and xbox and release the adapter in aus. PSO is in aus so why not the adapter! stupid nintendo.
anyway, i hope they do release some freeplay online titles. you never know, they might release a really cool version of super smash online!

see what some fans could do is build a controller cord that plugs into your computer which then interprets your signals as commands
and sends them through a router and back and forth....yeah or not...

Perm: No. Like GTA, that desyncs too easily. And it has no lag compensation, means it DEFINITELY desyncs.

why? when it's not actually online compatble, it's would make things even MORE annoying, here have an online game that isn't acutally online and have the modem/bband adapter to go with it so you can spend even more on not being online! hurruh!

Once they release some LAN games you are only a couple more steps away from online capabilites, I would not be surprised if some websight figures out a way to put the game online after that.  Akin to Gamspy, or that other one PGC recently reported on, where they are doing some Beta testing with online play.

I still belive Nintendo will come up with full fledge online support this generation, as they cannot go into the next console battle without a solid online strategy.  I also believe that Nintendos experimentation with LAN is baby steps towards that goal.
There are two types of people in the world.  Those who finish what they started, and so on...
