Close the lid, for one.

Greg and Guillaume suggested we invert the show this week, putting email first, in fear that YOUR segment would continue its recent short shrift. James, ever-confident in his hosting abilities, insisted this was unnecessary as New Business was sure to be, "a trifling." But, being the benevolent leader he is, he decided to relent. After a single question on the evolution of JRPGs spiraled into a segment-long feature, I think it's time everyone give James credit for his great idea to put email first this week.

In fact, Listener Mail is the singular focus of the show. This inadvertent episode of "Oops! All Emails" features a second segment that explores the following: stages you keep revisiting, the difficulty of Link to the Past, and Francophone games as perceived by the refined (non-Parisian gutter-trash) Québécois ear. You can demonize centers of commerce and culture by sending us an email.

I first played A Link to the Past on the SNES in 2004. I really liked it, but I found Ganon's Tower too difficult, so I never finished it.

More recently, I played through it again on the SNES mini. I did finish it this time, but I wouldnt have been able to without the Mini's rewind feature.

I played through Minish Cap when it was new and loved it, but wasnt able to beat the final boss. I played through most of it again at least once on my 3DS, thanks to the ambassador games.

The oracle games were the first ones I played. I played Link to the Past on the GBA and it was so hyped I was disappointed. I remember getting extremely lost about 1/3 of the way through the game. I replayed it as an adult and thought much higher of it (could respect more of the age it came out in).

Same thing happened with Super Metroid. First metroid I played was Metroid Prime and Fusion. Loved Zero Mission and Prime 2. I was all excited to finally play Super Metroid on virtual console. I was very heart broken, but now appreciate it after some more time.

You know, I have no shame. I use rewind feature, save states, and walkthroughs without a care in the world. I only went through Ghouls 'n Ghosts once. No cares given.

I wish the gang would have given out contact info for that poor soul.  I would 100% sherpa someone through Link to the Past via e-mail.
