All right, looks like we've got a lot of baseless voting going on so far. Let's open this strange closet with the word 'logic' written on it, though...
- There's 3 Mafia members on the Wesker side. They can only put in hits on odd Nights (1,3,5) so that's presumably one hit incoming tonight.
- The Ashford Mafia has 1 member currently, and won't expand until Day 2 (not Night 2!). The next expansion won't be until Day 4. Every expansion is also tied to a coin flip and can thus possibly be delayed.
- The Ashford team cannot kill anyone until their numbers equal or outnumber the Wesker mafia. This means if we're lucky and vote out one Wesker Goon today, Night 2 is the first time they could be striking.
Basically, with some dumb luck, the Ashford Mafia can be contained. Let's say they get unlucky on Day 2's coinflip, and the Townies vote wrong on Day 1(which is likely) ; that delays the Ashford side considerably already.
So, townies, I propose this game plan:
- If you play as Leon S. Kennedy and are currently in danger due to votes, you should encrypt a message into the Day thread.
- The current division favours the townies: there's 11 townies (8 normal, 3 special) versus 4 mafia members. This means there's a disproportional chance of accidentally hitting one of our own.
- Thus there's an incentive for coming forward now as Townies; we could theoretically make it to Day 3 with three losses (one hit, two votes), and still outnumber the Mafia 2:1. And that's if we play at our worst.
Let's close the lid on this outbreak before it spreads.
