Topic: Are there any GC mod resources??

For the past 2 years all I've found are Dr. Eggman's guides for the  lid mod and painting the GC. They're fine but is that it?? I have not been able to find replacement cases ,etc for the GC..The most I've found are skins for the GC..Has anyone had any experience with skins? Does anybody know of any websites dedicated to GC mods?  TIA!

I too am interested in some degree of case-modding for my GC. I have found some replacement jewels at GC gameskins. I have a purple GC (All the store had left, wish it was black, lol.) I'd like to find a way to get a backlight in there; you know, create that glowing effect on it. But I would prefer if there is some method that I can cause it to turn off when I open the tray; perhaps something to cover it up, that it won't glow through. Any thoughts on how to wire all this up?

I was kind of thinking put a basic circuit through that runs on the same circuit that the power button and the lid do. That's the only way I can think that it would turn off with the power *and* the lid being opened.

Any thoughts?
