You don't have to use slow-mo if it makes it easier.

Now I am stuck.  In the tall office building thingy, and I have gotten the big silver key.  All I am able to do is go back and forth on the same floor.  What the heck to I do with it?

are there bombs being thrown out from the background ? if there is, then theres a door on top and you would need to uppercut a bomb up there to hit the door..

Ya there are.  I have been trying to knock bombs over to it, but it didn't seem to be doing anything.  I guess I will keep trying then.

You have to jump and hit the bomb as it is coming into the room and let the bomb explode while in slow motion.  The other one that was tricking was knocking the bomb up through the chadeliers and knocking it over to the door.  Took me a while to get it just right, but I did.  The boss was a pain for me, but on my last and final life beat him.

The three chandeliers?  With the bomb?  Well punch the bomb up to the first one, on the right side of the chadelier, jump up to the left of the bomb and then punch it up again, to the left side of the second chadelier, then jump up to that one and then puch it up to the last and third chadelier, which is lit and will light the bomb.  You have to be quick and jump up to the third chadelier and knock the bomb over to the breakable door.  But make sure that the bomb explodes at the door in slow-motion.

Now for me.  In level five, after getting past the tank and the jet, and then the joker guy, what do I do with the slot machine, after using the coins, cheeseburger and V slots, there is still the bomb slot that send out several bombs, but I don't know what to do with the bombs.  I have tried letting them blow up at different speeds in different places, but I can't get anything to happen.

you dont really have to wait for him to eat his own bombs at all..what you want to do is follow him at all times and dont let him recharge his health..if he comes after you looking for a bite, just run around (not away) with mach speed..when you get the opportunity to hit him, use slow+zoom+punch to do the most amount of damage..when he runs away, try to follow him again..i find this method to be a lot easier than waiting for him to chew up his own bombs..

theres a hole to your right..either drop one of your own bombs in there and let it explode slowly or get one of the bombs from the slot machines and throw it in there..you need to right the slot machine to the top..

SPOLIERS (for those who have not gotten to Chapter 5)

I'm stuck on Chapter 5, right after you beat the plane and go down into the sewer, there are two of those poles with the globes on them, but they are too far apart to hit both of them at the same time, any help would be appreciated, this is giving me a headache.
The legend continues.

You jump up and zoom in to make the shockwaves on the ground.

Yeah, Gran Bruce can be relatively easy if you do it right.  When he starts jumping around and making a seal-like noise (for lack of better explanation), he's going to recover his health.  Get next to him, Jump, zoom, and slow to send the shockwaves at him then stay zoomed and slowed and punch as much as you can while holding down on the control stick.  If you get enough hits in, he'll just try to recharge again, and you can repeat until he's dead without taking a single hit.

At the beginning of Episode 4, when you're in the long hall with the big torpedos firing constantly, what am I supposed to do? The propeller platformI used to get up there has an antenna on it, so I'm guessing there must be a remote somewhere. But where is it? Any help would be appreciated, since no guide on Gamefaqs is past Episode 1 and IGN's guides suck.

Hey Bill, read the guidelines!  If you don't want to help, don't just link to GameFAQs.  Everyone knows GameFAQs is there if they get that desparate.

Dan: I already checked Gamefaqs and their only guide for Viewtiful Joe stops after Episode One. I never look at the boards on Gamefaqs, so I had no way of knowing a thread was there answering my exact question.

does continuing have any negative consequences?  i.e. will it lower my overall score or does it effect the ending of the game at all?

i'm having some major problems with the first part of level 5.  after i beat the jet the lava in the sewers toasts me pretty bad.  anyone have any suggestions for that part?  (i'm stuck in the third room, the part with the flying platforms.)

If you save after you die, you get a counter that counts () how many times you do that on your save file.
Does anyone know how to get boxes in the background. That would really help me with my current dilemma.

use mach speed.  after a few attacks, one of your copies will run into the back ground and attack the box, aftera  few hits the box will open, unleashing its goodies.  it's easier to do if you have mach 2 or 3.

Mouseclicker, the point is that if you're asking for help on these forums, then it's kind of rude for people to say "go ask somewhere else".
