AWESOME!
A music game has been LONG overdue on a Nintendo system. *WANTS WANTS WANTS*
The actual playscreens look like Donkey Kong Jr. from the NES! Yay!

The sheer existence of this game must prove that Nintendo has secretly solved all of its software problems because that is the only way they can afford to make a POS like that that will only sale in Japan.  That must mean a new C elda, a new realistic Zelda, Too Human, ED 2, MGS3, FF12, Metroid Prime2, Goldeneye 2 exclusive, origianal titles, Pokemon RPG, and Mario 128 will be out soon.  Cause lord knows that would be the only justification for wasting time on games like Donkey Konga and Pac Man.  Way to work on the priorities Shigendo.

Awwww... boo hoo... Why don't you go whine on an XBox or PS2 forum? You'll get plenty of cheers there.

Seriously, why don't you pull that boomerang out of your anus, so you can stand up straight, and see the light.

Mario Sunshine - No, not the best of the series, but it still rocked.

Donkey Konga - Not sure, I'm not a huge fan of rhythm/dance games, but this looks like it'd make for some good, fast paced multi-player action.

Pac Man Vs. -  I thought this was bloody brilliant idea, I personally can't wait to pick it up.

~Donkey Konga is being made by NAMCO, not Nintendo.
~Pacman VS is a tiny game that must have taken almost no effort to make. It's not like Nintendo chose to create it instead of another Zelda game.
~There's nothing wrong with Nintendo devoting some resources to smaller/niche titles. One of its major problems with the N64 was that it concentrated on only a few HUGE titles in a select few genres while gamers starved for months on end waiting for them and certain genres like RPGs and Fighters were almost non-existent on the console. It was the variety and quantity in game selection that allowed the PSX to become a much bigger success than the N64.
~It's ironic that you say a game like Donkey Konga is a waste of time because it will only sell well in Japan (and if the success of Namco's previous drum games are any indication, it will sell VERY well over there) then list as alternatives games like MGS3, Metroid Prime 2, and Goldeneye 2 which would mostly just sell in the US and completely bomb in Japan as well as games like ED2 and Too Human which quite possibly would/will bomb EVERYWHERE.
~What's REALLY ironic is you then mock Miyamoto even though he's played a key role in the creation/success of the predecessors of many of the games you listed. Not just Mario and Zelda either. He helped a lot with titles like Metroid Prime and even Eternal Darkness. In fact, he's involved with just about every game Nintendo is in any way involved with these days.
You also for some reason blame him for Nintendo's supposed lack of priorities when I'm pretty sure the President of Nintendo who is NOT Miyamoto is actually running things.

just give up trying to reason with him guys, its a waste of time and effort to try and cahnge people like that's mind, hating nintendo must take alot less effort than not caring it would seem, why else would they go out of their way to rant and whine about it? blergh.

I guess its against the law around here to have a problem with one of the allmighty Nintendo's decissions.

Nintendo ignores America.  The games that come out that do seem attractive to Americans like Eternal Darkness don't get big ad campains.  Metroid got a short ad campaign, but I still see GTA commercials now and then.  I'm sure Mario Kart will sell well everywhere but dance sims and music games only sell to candy ravers in America.  I'm sure this will help them shake the kiddy image too.  Now we get MGS.  Talk about sloppy seconds.  Hell it isn't even the MGS2 that both Sony and MS got, its the old PS one.  Sure the one on PS was better than part two but I like new games just as much as the next guy.  What about MGS3?  I'm tired of nothing but remakes and franchises.  I like Zelda games and Mario games, but honestly, I've been severly disappointed by the lackluster offerings this gen from Nintendo camp.  I don't know if they're still working on the "big" one behind the scenes and all this other stuff is just filler till the big guns come or have they moved those aces on to the next system where they may one day see the light of day.  You know what I'm saying, some games with some real ambition.

Okay nemo, so you're saying that you're tired of remakes, but that this new, refreshing gaming experience which is far from a rehash is a bad idea?  Can't you make up your damn mind?  I actually doubt I'll get this game, but I know, if I can rustle up the money I probably will.  And not just to spite you, either.  Because it'll be fun.

Funny, right at the bottom it says the source is IGN.

Other good news is that it seems Nintendo is actually releasing a series of games rather than making you pay for an expensive drum that only gets used once.  Judging from that track list, the US release is going to have to be quite different.

Hey Bloodworth ( can i call you that or do I have to add 'Sir' at the front ), is your surname Bloodworth? Weird question , I know but for some reason the name Bloodworth sends chiils up my spine...y'know the same sort of chills the Hyinas from the Lion king react when they hear the name Moffaser.

Yeah, I remember reading that on IGN a while back.  I just hope we get some anime/nintendo game inspired music for the american release...and it isn't just filled with baha men and britney.  =P
