Plugabugz, Atari published Unreal, lets not forget. That game is the arcade of FPS. Good clean gameplay mechanics that one. With the power of the link gun and the numerous tech jumps, they are the marks of both an expert gamer and excellent design. But Atari didn't make the game, so it's not much of an argument.

Anyway, it seems like with all the games that use the unreal engine that'd Atari would be maiking some money, so what gives?

P.S. How do I get webspace for my avatar? I don't want to suffer banage, nor do I want to post w/o my nifty avatar! Oy, the pains of this world!

Epic now has a contract with Microsoft. Atari won't publish the next Unreal games.

ehh...  In my opinion i dont really care if they did, i mean driver i never really got into it, and true crime is coming to all systems so i dont see any big loss from this, and the rest of their other games i think is crappy, so i dont mind at all if they stay or go

Oh, they'll probably come back crawling. At least once the Cube overtakes the XBox.

You guys it already has. Xbox has sold as well as dog doo in Japan. Its been a while since I've seen numbers but last I checked they didnt break 1 mil, which I know they Gamecube hasdone easily. Worldwide the gamecube is in 2nd, in the US it is 3rd, but thats ok because Nintendo has not lost as much money as Sony or Microsoft.

Yeah but Japan hardly concerns Atari. Worldwide sales not including Japan have GC last.

Hm, it looks like a major store here is dropping the XBox. At least they no longer have shelves for XBox games, they locked 'em all away and you probably have to ask an employee if you want to buy something XBox-related. Maybe they are preparing a new shelf, but there are no signs of such...
