Mario Kart pre-order deal?

I remember reading a news item on this site about Nintendo offering a free demo disc with the pre-order of Mario Kart.  However, I can find no mention of this on the Nintendo website or on any of the game store websites I've visited.  Does anyone know if this actually exists?  And if so, who is doing it?

No one knows for sure yet.  I would expect an announcement soon.

not much is known except geroge harrisson just mentioned that it will feature both video and playable demoes of 1st,2nd and 3rd party games.

please have 1080 avalanche and geist is all i want
