STAR CRAFT GHOST
« on: September 18, 2003, 05:41:24 AM »
This game comes out i think in 2004, which stinks, but worth the wait.  What is your opinion on this game?  I believe it would be quite interesting to go through starcraft worlds in 3D as one of the characters of the terrain race.  I would think it would be very scary to come face to face with an ultralisk or a battleship!  I heard it would have 20 some levels which will be cool.  I can't wait!

It's a stealth shooter. That's all I need to know to decide not to buy it.

I've heard back and forth over the last month or so that it wasn't making it to GCN.  Anyone heard recent news to the contrary?

If they wanted to make this exclusive, Blizzard would have announced that by now.  And they wouldnt have gone to all the trouble of announcing it to all the console systems.   Well anything is possible, but its severly doubtful this will ever happen.

Star Craft Ghost, Blizzard cleary showing all 3 console logos
MINKA would say," Whooo iz numba wan!!!??"

Im from California, sorry if I say dude a lot.

SCG GCN version will look almost unnoticeably similar to the xbox version, as stated by the developers

Ive seen screenshots to this, coming face to face with a hydralisk (the zerg or the bugs).  It's not pretty!.  Imagine coming face to face with a battlecruiser or an ultralisk.  Now that's a scary thing!  This idea is sort of like aliens vs predator isnt it?

I can tell you this is going to be the greatest game on the market when it comes out.  I've been following it for a year now, and I am a huge StarCraft fan.  (Never played the PC version though; just the N64 port, sadly.)  SCG was originally going to come out Winter '03, but they pushed it back, so you know Blizzard is putting their all into this game.  If this turns out to be anything less than perfect, I will be surprised.
I've gotta say what I've gotta say, and then I swear I'll go away, but I can't promise you'll enjoy the noise.

a huge starcraft fan from only playing the n64 version!  now that's impressive.
starcraft is now my fav game of all time, and i've played through over 200 games now,
however i owned it for 4 years before that happened, lol which says alot about the games depth.  you owe it to yourself to get the pc version and play it online, and make your own games with the editor, it's bliss

I too am anxiously awaiting this game.  I'm not sure if it's going to be "perfection" but surely it will be a great game.  If Blizzard can recreate the tension and cinematic feel of the StarCraft cut scenes (Do yourself a favor and watch the one that takes place on the battlecruiser - the Norad III I think - it's amazing) in a stealth game it will be excellent.

try playing this game late at night in the dark, and then turning a corner where you dont know whats around it, and then staring into the eyes of a hydralisk, it will make shivers down your spine!  That's how good i think this game will be.

I too got my first taste of SC on the n64 and have been a SC fan ever since.  I do hope this game measures up to the hype, though I really do think it will cus` Blizzard is pretty good about quality.  My only gripe is that Nova got a barbi make-over

One of my Diablo II playing friends was complaining about the newest patch earlier today.

Blizzard rarely dissapoints and shouldn't now.

Every game has their disadvantages (even just 1), what do you think it will be in this game?
