Don't hold me to it or anything, but a friend of mine told me that Cam Clarke (Liquid Snake) is going to be a voice actor for ToS.

Also, didn't Fujishima Kosuke also do the Character designs for the first Tales game, Tales of Phantasia?

Ehhh.. I just watched IGN's localized movie. I don't know how good the Japanese voices were, but the English ones are terrible! They just sound shallow, and fall completely flat. If I get this game, I probably play it with the voices off. Still, the cel-shaded anime graphics look excellent!

Taken from Namco's new Tales website...

"A lot of people were confused by that announcement. It was made in Japan for the Japanese market only -- but the gaming sites picked up the news here and only mentioned that there was a PS2 version announced ... without mentioning where."

Tales will be released on the PS2 ONLY in Japan...Happy now, you exclusive freaks?

But that's not the point...A lot of people here believed that Tales was taking so long to make it over here because Namco was going to release a PS2 version at the same time as the GC version...A timed exclusive is still an exclusive and with a title as high-class as this, it doesn't matter if a PS2 version may be released sometime down the line...

Its true. His got a point.

I really dont mind the english voices. Its not bad and considering theres 7 hours of it I say the localisation team need a pat on the back.

Gah...I certainly hope they have a "no voices" option sice they're mutilating it with crappy dubbed voices, because damned if I'm playing it listening to 7 hours of that. When are they going to learn that dubs always sound horrid, even if you don't compare them to the original voices?

That's what I'm talking about...a dub is going to suck, no matter what (I mean...have you heard the Cowboy Bebop English voices? Ye gods that was wretched...), and I'd really love an option for the Japanese voices.

Same here(regarding CBB). Anyway, I don't think there is enough data on the discs to have multiple languages for VA.

(then use more discs)

Where's the " Hype for Baten Kaitos Thread? " Hmmmmmmmmmmm? lol btw when is the release date for that game?

Also Today was one of the worst for me, My GameCube Reset button and Eject button were jammed. They would not pop in place as they should, and by that I mean the lid would not close and latch as it should.
The reset button just stayed down. I don't understand how'd that happen, "or either for that case" So I end up calling a Nintendo rep. Fixing it would cost $42.54 and that was with a $15 discount, I wasn't really thrilled with that option, the other was to give me a refurbished cube for $75.55 with the LOZ. Bonus disc, the one that came with the WW Pre-order, Which I already have.

Anyway, My dad decided to try using a non-oil lube, to see if it will get the joints and springs to popp like they should. Thus surely enough.... they did. : ) imagine my joy, lol I would rather not pay to fix it at that amount, for something so simple. Let alone buying another cube, I had this one since Launch.... so it's lucky.. Yeah! : )

Now the reset button is working like it should, and so is the eject button/ lid opener.

But I did managed to quiz him abit, He had no idea that Squarenix was working on a Kingdom Hearts for GBA. Let alone anything else coming from them.....yet.
But I did mention Silicon Knights, He says that web sites ( IGN ) jump the gun and like to speculate. There's nothing wrong with Nintendo or Silicon Knights, SK
will be allowed to develop for any system they wished for, I did ask him if the relationship will be kinda like that of Camelot. He said yeah, they do have projects in the works.

So we do have something to expect, what that is..... I don't know.

But I do know this....... I like the Super Mario Bros. Music they play over the phone, it's very nice : )

On the point of bad dubs, most of SC2s characters sound awful in english (has Cassandra ever heard of something called "emotions"?), but some of them (e.g. Nightmare, Cervantes, Astaroth, Raphael) sound better in english...

I thought I would share the love with everybody, as I know alot are curious. The guy did mentioned that ToS and Baten Kaitos are expected to be released this year, of course we know this already

So how long is the FMV? And how close is it to Grandia II's Battle system?

As I love Grandia II, Still have it for DC.

I have to replay it soon, it's been awhile since I played it. But I do love the lead character and that Devilish Vixen

OMG! Colette, Genis, Raine, Sheena? WTF Namco! Better not change Kratos Aurion and the others! Well, except for Regal. Change him into Pee Pee or something, he sucks anyway.
