*Yawn*

I wouldn't worry about stuff like this.  Not with all the great games coming out next year.

Won't sell ANY?  As in zero sales?  Um, sure.

I like the rumour of price cuts though.  There's a few PS2 games I've had my eye on and another price cut may convince me to buy one especially since all the titles I want are Greatest Hits.

I would say this is kind of expected.  I mean, the majority of console sales probably happened in the last fiscal year (March '02-March'03) because that is when most of the platform's biggest games launched (especially Nintendo's).  Where does this lead us?  It's basically a industry who's consumer's have already made their purchases as far as consoles go.  This shouldn't take an "analyst" to figure out...then again, maybe only an analyst would be dumb enough to "find" this out.

People forget that Nintendo is doing as good or better than Microsoft right now, and sales aren't exactly slipping. Whatever they say about Nintebdo based on the Gamecube can be applied to Microsoft based on the XBox- if that doesn't show their predictions are fundamentally flawed, nothing will.

I don't care.  I'll still be playing all the kick butt games out for GC.
Both $ony & now M$ appear to have been "using" the gaming industry to finance and prop-up their other industries which would struggle as stand-alone.
