I know that it's a few months/years/decades whatever before coming out. But do you think it will be very good. I've got my hopes up with this game cause I love the original starcraft. I've also heard rumors of Starcraft 2 a couple years down the track. Anyway, tell us what you think of any of the a-fore-mentioned games.

At first I didnt think It would be any good but after looking at some movies and screenshots ive thought otherwise.

Im not gona rush out and buy this game the day it is released but I will purchase it.

Its my most wanted multiplattform game next to Prince of Persia and Soul Calibur 2.

I remember reading somewhere recently, don't remember now, but that it would only appear on one console in the end. I do hope that this ends up not being true because Blizzard's games are always top notch.

Rumors are flying that it will never see a console outside of the Xbox.

But if it comes to GameCube, I will be snatching it up in a heartbeat. The blasted Zerg are so freaking nuked.

Bah. I think what everyone wanted was a traditional Starcraft RTS game, not a 3rd person Splinter Cell type game. I probably won't buy this even if it does come out on gamecube.

Well the rumoured starcraft 2 is going to be RTS. Thats what i prefer too. Ghost looks really appealing in the fact that you can call seige tank strikes and battlecruiser strikes. Lockdown, cloaking, nuking, other wonderful technologies. I think it'll be awesome.

I have no problem with sidequest games if they are done right. If Starcraft: Ghost was going to be an FPS, that would end any chance of my getting it right there. But it seems that Blizzard went the extra mile and made something very good. I mean, Starcraft is a very fine game, but when the viewpoint is thousands of feet above a Battlefield, it's kind of hard to see the action up close outside of cut scenes.

Ghost will show us the Starcraft universe in a very living, breathing, realistic sense.

i remember reading somewhere recently, don't remember now, that blizzard wasn't really doing anything with this game except publish it. a company called nihilistic is doing pretty much everything else. and while i agree that it does look like it will be a good game, i don't think you can assume it will be great just because blizzard is involved.

I disagree, there is no way in hell that Blizzard would allow any game less than incredible to use the Starcraft name. Blizzard has yet to make a bad game or let me down, even with my exhorbitantly high expectations of their games, and I know they won't let me down here.

But as much as I love Blizzard, if the rumours are true and it is only released on xbox, I'm not going to buy one just to play it

If you think about starcraft, it is was made when, 1993, 94, and if you ask me the graphics were brillian and still are for a game of that age. Imagine what they can do now.

Actually, it was released in 1998. You're probably thinking of Warcraft.

just to lend credibility to those rumors of the game only coming out to xbox, all screenshots and footage released thusfar for this game has been of the xbox build.

as much as i would love to see it on the cube (and i would definately buy it), i really wouldn't be surprised to hear that microsoft had nabbed exclusive rights to it or that the gamecube version was canned.

I will definetly be getting Starcraft:Ghost. Everything about it just rocks and there is no way Blizzard would put out a game that was sub-par. But I hadn't heard any of these rumors that it wasn't coming out on the Cube! Now I'm sad.
