I never liked Star Wars, I never really got the idea of it, just bored me. Catch Me If You Can is actually a great movie. Tom Hanks is an awsome actor, and Leonardo Dicaprio is a good actor too if you look at his acting skills. I dont understand why people call him ghey when he can get any chick he wants.
Temptation why wont you leave me alone?

what about MC Hammer?

oh also mouse_clicker, slap your friend in the face for me no-one can call themselfs a starwars fan and consider the original trilogy 'mediocre', and then impale him with an x-wing model

as for the music of the 60's i could ask my parents if you want, they have quite an extensive collection that spans from motzart to the beatles to jethro tull (AWSOME BAND!!!!!) to metalica (who i dislike, damn old people )

my recomendation to all is get some jethro tull, they started in the 60's and are still going today! heavy horses is an awsome song/album, so yeah get buying/downloading

edit: bloody hell! i pressed 'reply' just after mouse clicker's post, i reply and there are like 6 before mine . im a slow typer!

LOL, every time I think of MC Hammer I think of the sketch on the show In Living Color.  Do any of you remember that show?  They had someone impersonating MC Hammer, who was supposed to be performing "Can't Touch This".  They ended it with the guy getting all tangled up in those ridiculous huge pants he used to wear and falling off the stage.

I saw an interview with MC Hammer on Conan where he said at one show he jumped off an amp and when he landed on the stage, it broke and he fell through. He instantly jumped out, though, and everybody thought it was a stunt.

He also elaborated on Conan's famous "stringed hip" dance.

The whole religion thing ruins all the humor for me. It's like listening to Christian rock- the music itself may be good but to hear some guy ramble on about jesus and god it just ruins the whole thing for me.

Just a quick follow up on this...

I went out and bought the Director's Cut DVD of Woodstock today.  This was based solely on Auntie Pikmin's recommendation, so I guess that speaks volumes about the trust and respect I have for her.

I just want to say that even though I am only 20 minutes into it, it's already proved its worth to me.    Watching the movie is like being in the 60s, and that's exactly what I was looking for.  Watching the interviews with the townspeople being over-run by a bunch of "the nice youngfolk", and seeing the aerial shots of the parked cars and the tents set up is simply awesome.

You know... this movie makes me really depressed that I missed Sarsstock.

oh no i wasnt tryign to start soemthing, in another thread Grey Ninja was talking about his gaming addiction and how he has a very limited diet of ramen noodles and hwo his body was really gettign tired of it. When i read he had a cousin the first thing i thought was hey...he can try to his cousin up for soem food. Its good to hear he had a nice delicious angelfood cake. Those carbohydrates will aid him greatly for the strenous excercise that is typing and gaming.

Awww, thanks.    I'm glad you are enjoying the film!  Is the music inspiring you at all?  Since you had mentioned wanting some 60's hippy music I wondered if the film was also helping to satisfy that curiosity and need.

Perm  I'm sorry for jumping on you if I misinterpreted your post.  I knew about the food/gaming post which was why I jumped on you.  I thought you were throwing it up in Grey Ninja's face.  We had just pretty much ended a very emotional and heated debate on another thread and I thought maybe you were angry or something.  I just wanted hostility to end.  Sorry again if I was helping to create it rather than stop it.

I never have been too much of a hardcore hippy music fan, but I do like jimi hendrix and some of jefferson airplane. hendrix was just a great guitar person, he really was what got me into playing guitar.

This game is bloody incredible.  There just isn't much better than flying around in a Cobra blowing stuff while listening to the sounds of the 60s.  Now if only some developer would make an "Extreme Vietnamese Sports" game, I would be a HAPPY man indeed.  =)  I would RULE at gunboat waterskiing.

Man...  It's just amazing how powerful some of this stuff is.  Yes Ms. Pikmin, I think that the music has given me the message.  =)

Finally!  Geez, Grey Ninja, I've been sitting here 8 long months waiting for a response to my last post.  It's been absolutely torturous just waiting and waiting.  The burden has now been lifted from me and I am at peace with the world again.

I didn't know Spielberg did Who Framed Roger Rabbit.  That's one of my favorite movies ever.
He also did AI.  They cancel each other out in terms of credit for him.

I'm not a big fan of hippy music, it's sort of hit and miss whether I like it or not.  I'd probably be close to manunited or theperm in liking it, I suppose.

And the ninja returns.  Hey.
