Nintendo Downloads - June 2, 2016

The long dark tea time of the soul.

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/42781/nintendo-downloads-june-2-2016

While Europe has a very light week, North America has a couple of interesting titles on the eShop this week. The big one is previous PlayStation Plus instant game collection member Kick and Fennick crossing over to the other platforms, bringing some more fun platforming action to the eShop. If you're into meta-humor, there's B3 Game Expo For Bees, which asks the question "What would happen if bees took over a trade show?" and should serve as a fun preview of next June at the LACC.

In Virtual Console news, both consoles pick up a release. On the Wii U, you can get ready for the confirmed 2016 Game of the Year Metroid Prime: Federation Force by playing its spiritual predecessor, Metroid Prime: Hunters. Sadly, the lack of Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection means you just get the single player portion. On New 3DS, you can finish the fight with Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble.

And yes, Europe's week is tremendously light. Here's the list: A couple of Fire Emblem Fates maps, Kick and Fennick, an Ashley theme and DKC3. Even the sales largely consist of the usual suspects.

Played Kick & Fennick on Vita when it released last year. Really fun game with a lovely recoil mechanic for platforming. Recommended.
