I always assumed they were prohibited on the forums (as in they were impossible to insert) because no one has them. Personally, I like just having an avatar.

They are possible now that images are supported but I think Bloodworth said if he sees anyone using sig pics that's a swift kick in the ass and no more image tag.

Indeed, we don't allow images in signatures. It can very easily make things very confusing to read if there were more image signatures than posts in a thread. Plus, they are unnecessary. Just have a good user name avatar to define who you are.

You guys know what drives me up the motherfucking wall? Stupid arse avatars with white backgrounds. Clearly it's white because most webpaages are but this is NWR, and we're STILL IN THE GRAY until they fix the forum script. So these obviously meant to be transparent avatars just pollute the boards.

I fixed Caliban's offending article but I can't do steveys terrible avatar without help. Stevey, send me the ORIGINAL bit of art. I don't know how you scaled it down but you failed miserably and only my skills will give you an acceptable avatar!

What I'm trying to say is that you guys cant do transperancy, I can and I'm willing to help.

I steal my images from other places if I like them, then load them up in my photobucket and then use them. I can make my own animated ones, but I have had problems getting trans to work so I don't bother
