Realizing that a terrible error in judgement has been made, NWR reverses course and unbans Khushrenada in order to help fight the spambot menace. However, Khushrenada doesn't return. Where could he be?

Khushrenada is still missing. The remaining forum users begin fighting over Fire Emblem Fates censorship and how to bring Khushrenada back along with suggestions of starting a Mafia game. Nothing works. In an even more terrifying development, Pokepal148 attempts to declare himself King of the Funhouse while Mop it up confess that she visits here less and less. Further disbelief at the state of the NWR forums grows.

Suddenly, out of the blue and with no warning, a miracle happens. Khushrenada returns.

With the defeat of the spambot menace dedede878, the disposing of "King" Pokepal148, the ability to edit Talkback posts again and the banning of michealbaysuperfan616 aka animecyberrat, the forums have been saved and normalcy has finally returned. To put one more jewel in his crown, Khushrenada steps forth to host another Safe Words game as further proof that he is still the beating heart of these forums.

Animeboy thinks his lame dance thread is better thread idea than mine. Here's a thread that will put him to shame.

With that pointless introduction out of the way, let's meet the Safe Words 8 contestants. They are:

This will be the order of rotation in which the contestants choose Safe Words while hoping to avoid the Bomb Word each round.




Perhaps this will peak your interest. Instead of choosing words, the contestants will be choosing phrases this time designed to create some grand irony if they choose wrongly. The phrases they will be choosing are:

A quick reiteration of the rules and how the game is played.

There is a list of phrases that will be used throughout the game. One player will select a phrase from the list. That choice will be kept hidden from the remaining players. This phrase is considered the bomb word.

After the bomb word is chosen, the remaining players must all choose a phrase from the list. Every time a phrase is chosen, it is removed from the list for that round. No two players can select the same phrase. If a player does not choose the bomb word, then they are safe for that round and move on to the next. If a player selects the bomb word, they are eliminated from the game and the bomb word is removed from the list for the rest of the game.

If none of the remaining players choose the bomb word, then the player who selected it to start the round is forced to choose their own bomb word selection and is eliminated. The game is played until there is only one player still left standing and that player is declared the winner.


Order of players chosen.

For this game, I decided to base it off the accumulated game points all players have acquired up to this point based on the F-Zero scoring system. About time I made that thing payoff. The order selection is from the lowest ranked player to the highest. I finally went through the last 4 games and figured out the scores.

Thus, we begin with ShyGuy selecting the first bomb word in a pm to me and TOPHATANT123 will be the first to guess once I receive ShyGuy's choice.


Message reminders.

Once I get ShyGuy's choice, I will send a pm to all players alerting them to the fact the game has begun. I will most likely send out a pm when it is a players turn to choose for their first choice. After that, it is up to players to remember to check in on their own unless they notify me to send them a reminder when it is their turn to choose.


Waiting for a selection.

A generous time of 2 days is given for a player to select a phrase. After that, a message will be sent to alert them that it is their turn to choose. If a choice has not been made 1 day after the sent message, the player will be automatically given the bomb word choice and removed from the game.

Too late. I accept the bet. Of course there is some risk on my part since you are safe this round and have a chance to win but I'm willing to play the odds.

As for points, you'll be able to find out in awhile I guess because I'm going to post total in the past 3 Safe Words games that didn't have them and update the Safe Words Hall of Fame to make it easier to track and follow.
