The free content for Splatoon will finish as promised tonight, with one last new stage.

Ancho-V Games, purportedly the developers of the smash hit Squid Jump, will drop tonight at 9 p.m. Eastern. The fans that cool the coders and their PCs also provide movement boosts both horizontally and vertically.

The final content count for Splatoon is 74 unique weapons and 16 stages.

Rent must be low in the Inkopolis if an indie developer can afford such a large space. Then again, their work space periodically turns in to a Turf War.

I tried it out last night in both modes. It was not very fun in Zones, but that's more because the mode has a poor setup on most maps, and this one is no exception. I had some fun with it in Turf, and the fans provided some interesting moments. I'd just like it to be a little larger, it felt a bit cramped, but overall I liked it. I'm looking forward to seeing how the other two modes play out on it.
