Nintendo Downloads - August 20, 2015

You can credit and/or blame the Box Hunter for one game on the day's list.

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/40979/nintendo-downloads-august-20-2015

It's a heavy week for the North American side of the downloads, as usual. Despite Freedom Planet having its release held to squash more freeze bugs, there's a couple of strategic sequels on the Wii U Virtual Console as Hardcore August rolls on, and several indie titles including a game that you might already own thanks to crossbuy if you bought into the Humble Nindie Bundle.

The 3DS brings some quality classics of its own this week with 3D Gunstar Heroes, and the first Nintendo published retail game since Splatoon with Little Battlers eXperience. Our review is forthcoming.

Europe picks up an intriguing indie title as 2014's ZaciSa's Last Stand gets a more accurate title to go along with its major improvements: ZaciSa: Defense of the Crystal Dimensions! For the curious, the week's Virtual Console game for Europe is not a Dana Carvey movie.

in case folks were wondering, it seems the Freedom Planet patch to fix the Retail Wii U crashes didn't work perfectly, so they've said the game is indefenatley delayed. Not a long indefinatley, but they just don't know when they'll be able to get the game out exactly.

I have been meaning to play gunstar heroes for a while, would this be the way to play it? Would I be missing out a lot by not getting to play multiplayer?

I'm still sorely disappointed we aren't getting Xenoblade re-released on Wii U yet, but some good games nonetheless.

Was Woah Dave! confirmed to be free for people who already own the 3DS release?

Multiplayer is good, and it's a shame if there is no option to play with friends.
But the 3D effect will probably be good too.

One of the rare cases where I don't think there is a wrong choice as long as you just play the game.  ;D

According to what I read on Reddit, it is.  Yay, crossbuy!

Fun game too.  Intentional or otherwise, it's very nearly a Mario Bros. 2
Just some random guy on the internet who has a different opinion of games than you.
