Streetpass Hats!
« on: February 24, 2015, 01:43:43 PM »
It's time to talk about the most important thing about Streetpass. The hats!

Does your Mii wear a hat? Or you resistant to their charms and hat free?

Do you rock one hat or switch it up from time to time?

What are your favorite hats? Least favorite hats?

Is there a hat you're still hoping to add to your collection? Do you find the hats motivate you to keep playing the streetpass games to unlock more or are you happy with what you've got? Would you prefer something more than hats?

I'll start it off. The collector in me is compelled to keep playing for hats. I've only got 60 but I've got 14 tickets and I'm waiting for the console hats to roll around and start picking them up.

The first hat I mained was the Kirby hat with him sitting and holding on to your head. Later, I unlocked the Isabelle cap and wore that for awhile but having gotten the Epic Kirby knit hat, that is my go to choice. I want to get the console hats like the SNES and the GameCube. I need to complete a couple Find Mii rooms still for other hats like Waluigi's and Fox McCloud.

I like all of the Nintendo-related hats.

I switch my hat up a lot because my brother and I StreetPass one another multiple times a day, allowing us to give each other "Fantastic" ratings which we otherwise couldn't do if we didn't change our hats.

In USA, you game system. In Soviet Russia, system game you.

This new "IN AMERICA" thing you're doing isn't really working for me. Plus, sometimes when you use it, it makes no sense in a contextual sense.

I'm not a fan of spending tickets on recycled old hats. There never seem to be any new ones so I just build up tickets.

What? If you buy a hat from the exchange shop, it should never appear again. Once bought, it disappears from rotation only leaving the hats you haven't bought yet.

I think I've bought the SNES and N64 but it's shown up again. I may be wrong though. But regardless, since most don't interest me, I just don't buy any.

I'm a collector so I'll get them all but I do admit I find myself going for the Nintendo themed hats before others. Star Wolf hat or French Fry hat? I'll take the Star Wolf, thank you very much.

I do like that it gives the Mii's you streetpass such variety though. I'd have to scroll through my Mii plaza to see if there is one but I can not think of any one hat that seems to be a majority pick. So many people seem to have unique choices so I like getting to see all that variety and different looks.

That's true, I do like seeing what everyone picks. I wore the wedding veil for quite awhile and was always curious what people thought.

I've pretty much settled on the Moai hat for now, though every once in a while I change it up. I sometimes do what Phil does, and game the system for "Fantastics," though.

I just bought the Moai hat two days ago. I'd been interested but had saved my tickets for other stuff first. I could see myself wanting to use that one in the future though. It's one of the cooler and more interesting hats to me. I don't think I've ever seen anyone else with it though.

Hmm, I think I may have seen one or two people with it, but there's too many people in my plaza to go back and look. Beyond that, once you hit a set number of streetpasses, the old Miis in the back clear out. I've lost a few gold-pants Miis I actually streetpassed to that feature. Peter Moore, for example.

Yeah, you've got to be careful about that. It's why I like to hire old heroes in Find Mii and use my gold pant Miis so that they get moved back to the front. I've been able to keep the Phil Harrison Mii by doing that.

I didn't realize they moved from the back to the front when you do that, otherwise I think I would have given it a shot. Still, it's a small price to pay for more than enough streetpasses to have all the hats. All of them!
