Unless someone wants to help me reach 700 coins, I am now going to cry over that Smash poster with Shulk.

This is what Club Nintendo should have always been.
Sometimes, you just want to play a video game.

Snagged the 3DSXL case, it'll go great with my MonHun New XL. 40 coins short of the card case and won't get those until tomorrow night when I upgrade Mario Golf, so fingers crossed there.

Harmoknight, Earthbound and Wonderful 101 are must buys.

That's an impressive list of digital downloads, and some of the exclusive physical items are very decent too.  Club Nintendo easily exceeded my expectations on the way out.

The only thing I'm curious about now are the Gold/Platinum prizes for this year. Anyone interested in a digital download is better holding out for that information before buying anything, because the year-end rewards were confirmed as digital downloads too.  (Of course, people interested in physical rewards are better off buying ASAP so that stock doesn't run out.)

Rewards I'm most interested in, personally:
* Super Mario 3D Land (600 coins) - probably the best value, but also the easiest to get elsewhere.
* 3DS XL Pouch (600 coins) - priced high, but looks good and I really like my other pouches from Club Nintendo.
* Majora's Mask Messenger Bag (800 coins) - looks nice but don't think I'd use it...

Tough decision. I'll probably end up with game downloads. What about others?

Can't even get logged in - got in one time and it booted me out when I loaded the rewards. :(

Just some random guy on the internet who has a different opinion of games than you.

And as usual, Nintendo's incompetence knows no bounds. They never could get that goddamn site to load in a timely manner, and it never could hold more than 3 people at a time. It's no wonder the site's down within a few hours of the rewards being posted. Pretty much sums up Club Nintendo in general.

If we ever could get in, though, there's definitely some stuff worth having...for once.

For what it's worth, I'm willing to bet the number of people rushing the site far exceeds expectations or any normal usage. So considering that the site struggled under normal usage, this isn't a surprise.

I can understand fighting for limited physical goods, but if any of those people are rushing to buy (unlimited) digital downloads instead it's kind of silly. Anyone who hit Gold/Platinum is better off waiting for those announcements anyway.
