You must realize that MP has a first person perspective, so they don't have to worry about camera angles like in SMS.
That Yoshi thing took me forever to do, but since I'd done most everything else and was pretty bored that day, I had plenty of time and enjoyed doing it. Also, very satisfying when I beat it. It was tedious the first time I tried it, though. Then again, I'm not sure I knew Yoshi could turn enemies into platforms the first time. . .
That too. I never read the guides to games anymore (unless I have to wait until I play it, then I read it to tide me over), so I learn the controls myself and everything. Later, I find out things halfway through the game that I could have known from the start (jumping in the boat in WW and making the boat go slow with the sail down). I don't mind this, and it really has nothing to do with the topic at hand, but I figured I'd mention it. I just never seem to have problems controlling anything (though I shot missiles instead of morph balling for a while in MP). Perhaps it's me being an abnormal gamer.
