I'm not happy about how it sounds like they nerfed Samus AGAIN. They already made her much weaker in Brawl (she was awesome in the first two Smash games, but much weaker in Brawl), and it sounds like they made her even worse. Is Sakurai trying his hardest to make people not want to play as her for some reason?

hopefully some of the buffs given to DK and Bowser end up reaching dedede and charizard.

bigger as well as faster than before,
So he's bigger, faster, and stronger too and he's the first member of the DK crew?

Honestly how did you write that and not end up making a reference to the DK rap.

I'm hoping for a more powerful Kirby. I always play him regardless of how good he is as he is my favorite character and he's the one I've used for the majority of single-player sessions so I know his moves controls real well.

That said, I suddenly realized while doing the latest Mafia game that I am hooked on Animal Crossing in a big, big way still and I really, really, really, really, am looking forward to playing the Villager and it is now my biggest reason for wanting the new Smash games. I hope he turns out to be a blast and (and is secretly very powerful like Meta Knight).

The Smash Bros. fever is upon me!

The fact that he was able to write it without it devolving into that is a testament to how consummate a professional he is.

If Wolf doesn't come back, Zero Suit Samus will definitely be my main since she was the only other character I was decent with in Brawl.

You know, I do like King Dedede. I've been able to play Kirby: Return to Dreamland with a friends a couple times and I always take King Dedede when we've done it because I just want to play as a big penguin with a large mallet and smash things. My favorite thing about Kirby 64 is the couple times you can play as Dedede and smash things with his mallet. I don't know why I like that so much but something about it is pure awesome.

I can't believe they are making Kirby more powerful.  I always thought Kirby was one of the stronger characters in all the games.  Brawl he was perhaps weaker.

I felt Samus was really good in the original, but Melee and Brawl seemed weaker.  Link has never been bad, just pretty boring.  Him and Mario are just sorta average players...and not that fun to use.

Kirby was only one of the strongest in the N64 game.  In Melee he was one of the worst where his attacks were way too weak combined with his lightweight status made him basically worthless in that game.  Brawl buffed a lot of his attacks which made him a decent character again but he was still no where close to as strong as his N64 counterpart.

My wife used Kirby well in both Melee and Brawl...but in Brawl he seemed too powerful.  He is one of the hardest characters to kill, specially in Brawl.  You basically have to send him to instant KO to kill him, because he will come back from any normal launch.
