You can use your hard-earned coins on some Virtual Console and downloadable games.

Club Nintendo members can use their coins to get Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters (3DS), Number Battle (DSi/3DS), Yoshi (Wii U) and Bonsai Barber (Wii/Wii U).

On Nintendo 3DS, Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters is available for 150 coins.  The DSiWare title, Number Battle, is available for 200 coins.

For 200 coins, Wii U owners can download the Wii U Virtual Console version of the NES game Yoshi.  Bonsai Barber is available through the Wii Shop Channel for Wii U and Wii owners for 250 coins.

These titles are available through Club Nintendo until April 6 2014.

Kid Icarus: MaM is a solid game and superior to the original, despite the black and white graphics. I have two copies of it on the GB (for some reason), but I'm tempted to go ahead and cash in on this.

Has anyone played Bonsai Barber? I might snag that if it's any good

Finally!  They have a game that I neither already own and actually want.  I've always been a big Kid Icarus fan but never had a GB.

Nintendo should stop putting up 30 cent games as Club Nintendo rewards.
Nintendo won't stop putting up 30 cent games as Club Nintendo rewards.

Funny how they skipped Kirby's Adventure and Super Metroid and went straight for the turd that is Yoshi.

Aw man, they raised the coin values again. Oh well, nothing for me this month anyway.

Well, I've got a stack of coins that need to be spent and I need to register all of my Wii U gear. Suppose I can get some of these.

I got Bonsai Barber for my sister years ago. It seemed quirky and fun and she did say she enjoyed it. though eventually she grew tired of it and irritated that the plants started complaining through the Wii messages.

Seems like a fun distraction. What ever happened to Zoonami? Weren't they supposedly working of a new Goldeye/Perfect Dark replacement title called Project Zero? Never heard from that, did we?

I've played the game but am not sure whether to call it good or not.

It's an interesting and odd experience. Everything is well made. It's just... really weird, in a cute sort of way.  I enjoyed playing the game for a while but never got pulled in enough to really continue and gave up after things started to feel kind of repetitive.

If the idea leaves you intrigued, then I'd probably recommend trying it as a Club Nintendo reward.
If the idea doesn't look like something you'd enjoy, then it's probably safe to skip.
