It is time for Waluigi to receive his due.
He was in the popular DDR: Mario Mix. That game sold so well that Nintendo recalled it (according to the pimply faced dweeb at the Stopgame register when I was hunting for it after it first sold out). This proves that Waluigi is a corporate treasure for Nintendo. They couldn't let his value diminish through overexposure. I would even venture to guess that playing a game with Waluigi too many times could lead to the player developing super powers. And we know what would happen if everyone developed super powers... no one would be super. We cannot have that happen! Nintendo has learned that with great power comes great responsibility.

The year of Waluigi is like anti-time. It goes backwards. And going backwards finds Nintendo eliminating first Microsoft, then Sony and finally Sega for the ultimate domination of the videogame market. Thank goodness for Waluigi!
